    Love this! I'm a revert and there wasn't, and still isn't answers in christianity, it's 'believe and don't ask, your belief is weak if you question things' and then every church, every book and sect is different but in Islam, I know a lot of people are told not to ask or they're following blindly but logic explanations are definitely out there for everything, and they're consistent. Even sleeping on your front, it sounds insignificant but it's because your spine is so heavy on top of your organs and sleeping that way often is why people develop hunchback and curved spines. Appreciate the video, Allah reward you both ameen 🤲

      Christians who don't ask questions are wrong for doing that. And sadly it is prevalent. Every belief system must be able hold up against the toughest of questions. The Bible says....study to show yourself approved, a workman who needs not be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. Jesus was questioned over and over again by pharisees and teachers of the law. It was their custom to ask questions. And each time Jesus answered with such brilliance that they it basically embarrassed the pharisees. So it's is not bad to ask questions but make sure it is to people who have studied and know the answers.

    Assalamu'alaikum, i hope everyone is doing well by the permission of Allah. i just wanted to make it clear that yes - as brother Sufyan said- we should ask questions and try and educate ourselves but there are limits on what we should ask or how we ask questions. There are a few scenarios with the prophet ‎ﷺ when the sahabas asked questions that they shouldn't ask (such as when the sahabas asked whether they should perform hajj every year and the prophet ‎ﷺ stayed silent). This was because we should not go into too much detail with matters that don't need them. It was said that the previous people (bani israel) deviated so much because they asked too many unnecessary questions and as a result made the religion too hard for themselves. i hope this makes sense إن شاء الله.

      W/Salaam. Excellent advice. Some people do get carried away with rulings and religion then ends up being too complicated and not inclusive. Islam is simple and yes, some knowledge is unnecessary. However, knowledge that can secure faith and increase Imaan is vital.

    • @halalpolice7544

      Correction, the prophet pbuh use to be silent bc he was afraid that Allah will make it compulsory to us. For example, the Tarawiih that we pray in Ramadan prophet Muhammad pbuh started but few days he stopped bc he afraid that Allah SWT might send Quran and make it compulsory to us.
      But yeah you’re right, unnecessarily question is not good to ask.

    WHAT IS MY PURPOSE AND WHY SHOULD I WORSHIP GOD?
    Just as a painter has a vision in mind for his painting or an inventor for his invention, our purpose is defined by One person. God. God's primary purpose for creating humans is to enjoy Him (worship). It is like me baking a cake and knowing it is so good and wanting others to enjoy it. God is infinitely good and deep and loving and generous and made us and trees and rocks to enjoy Him. Nature expresses his beauty, babies express his tenderness, thunder expresses his power of his voice and the seas and skies the depth and height of his wisdom. Think of what it feels like to meet and amazing person and how grateful you were to meet that person and how you couldn't stop talking about that person. Doesn't that sound like worship? Worship is the natural response to the experience of God's greatness. Those who find it difficult to worship have indeed not experienced God.

Anyway, my doctor advised me to have 1 cup of wine, pinot noir wine or another dark wine. I, of course never started this regime...but I wanted to know your thoughts on this.

    • @TheXs.Official
      @TheXs.Official  Před 2 lety +2

      Salaam sister. Sorry for the late response. So sorry to hear about your struggles. We are both making dua for you. 🤲
      There are basically two schools of thought which ultimately say similar things. There is a Hadith that states the prophet (saw) said “Allah has sent down the disease and the cure.. So treat sickness, but do not treat it with anything haraam.” There is another Hadith in which a man used to make medicine using wine. He asked the prophet about whether it was okay. The response was “It is not a medicine, rather it is a disease.”
      From my understanding, we are not allowed to take medicines containing alcohol that intoxicate and when there is alcohol involved as an ingredient, it can only be taken if the medicine does not have alternatives. The difference in the schools of thought are that one says you can take medicine containing alcohol if there are no intoxicating effects and there is no alternative. The other states that there only need be no other alternative. Many medicines do intoxicate somewhat so Allah knows best.
      I understand this can be extremely challenging when being told that the cure is in the wine but iA you acted with wisdom. May Allah reward you and provide you with ease and the cure to your struggles. I know that this response is not conclusive but iA it helps towards a solution. ☺️

    Amazing video. I'm not a Muslim but my religion as a Baha'i also believes in Islam. What are your thoughts on the question you mentioned in the beginning - Why did God who is the Almighty want to create us and then tell us to worship Him? What is the point of Him creating us and the universe since He doesn't need us? I never can fully understand this. Love your channel.

    • @halalpolice7544
      @halalpolice7544 Před 3 lety

      Allah answered your questions in the Quran in Chapter 51:56. For example,
      Al-‘Allaamah Muhammad al-Ameen ash-Shinqeeti (may Allah have mercy on him) said, in his commentary on the verse (interpretation of the meaning), “And I did not create the jinn and mankind except to worship Me” [adh-Dhaariyaat 51:56]:
      What this verse means, “except to worship Me” is: so that I may enjoin on them that they should worship Me and I will test them; that is, I will test them with religious duties, then I will requite them for their deeds: if their deeds are good, then the outcome will be good, and if their deeds are evil, then the outcome will be bad.

    • @halalpolice7544
      @halalpolice7544 Před 3 lety

      Worship in itself is a test from Allah, may He be exalted, to His slaves, so that He may make known who will believe and who will disbelieve, who will be disobedient and who will be obedient, then He will reward the doer of good for his good deeds and will punish the doer of evil for his evil deeds. Moreover, the reason for testing people is so as to see a person’s reaction at the time of calamity: Will he bear it with patience or will he panic? And it is to see his reaction when he is tested with blessings and calamities: will he give thanks or will he be grateful?

      I just researched so I can find good answers for you since allah SWT already said I created Jinn and human to only worship me and also you’re right god doesn’t need our worship but “Then Why he asking to worship” hopefully if you read that website you will get your answer

    • @truebomba
      @truebomba Před 2 lety +1

      Your question has two folds. Let me provide some insights
      The creation is an eternal attribute of God according to Islam. God created us among other things. It is not like we are the center of his creation categorically.
      For the other part; worship is a need of the humans and not of the divine. Actually, it is believed that worshiping god is simply the natural stat of all creations. The divine is transcendent and has no need for our worship, but from our perspective, the worship (which is centered on the concept of Tawheed, i.e. believing there is no Gods but a single God) is making our hearts move toward a single unity (the divine reality). And the outward creed is an outward individual and social component that has ensured the conservation of the remembrance of this path of reuniting our hearts toward the higher possible good we can conceive, in other words, the remembrance of God. You can remark that the source of anxiety in the human psyche is to have more than driven points in the heart (more than one god). So technically The worship and the creed (which are not an end in themselves given that they have changed from a prophet to another from the Islamic metanarrative) mainly benefit us experientially and psychologically as individuals and ensure that this wisdom to remember god and seek unity in our hears (the psychological image of God) continues in history through its manifestation in the outward acts and the individual and social organization.

      Great question. Muslims believe that the Quran was revealed to the prophet Muhammad (pbuh) through the angel Jibreel (Gabriel) from Allah. So the words are Allah’s words and they were revealed to the prophet directly.
      Hope this makes sense. ☺️

      It’s only Muslim men but it’s not advisable. Bc back than the christian use to follow their religion and their women was good practicing (No pork, no alcohol, no cheating etc) but now it’s hard to find that so the majority of scholars warned to marry Jewish and Christian women.

I can only speak as a Muslim in saying that I have found answers which satisfy me logically, as I am someone who is based in reason. I too previously struggled with the same question you mentioned. I would suggest that you seek answers. Start with the questions you want answered. If you would like some guidance and direction, feel free to contact us via email or hit us up on either of our insta accounts. 😊

    WHO CREATED GOD?
    The concept of creation was created by God. Created beings in a created world find it hard to understand that God is. He just is. Wasn't created, never dies, never sleeps, never takes a break. 'I AM' ...this is how He introduced Himself one occasion.

    Re Sheik maybe this maybe that...I'd luv to hear from this Sheik on your platform. These guys don't like when you think bec religion is about blind belief not about thinking or reasoning or history or science. Christian religious leaders and other religious leaders behave the same as well. Blind belief don't question, don't ask for evidence, don't whatever. Belief is belief keep it in that realm. That Sheik was a bad teacher who didn't know the Qur'an enough to answer your kind of enquiring mind.

    This video didn’t seem very useful. You ask questions but you don’t give an answer which is strange, do you wanna lead people astray with you. I really wanna go jannah but this is only if ALLAH wills, I know I don’t deserve jannah because I have many issues but I hope ALLAH will forgive me.
    You said why should we pray and do acts of Ibada. Well in life many people do anything- entertainment, work, money, pleasure but none of these things ever have true meaning and contentment.
    I struggle with my Deen a lot that’s because this world is a cursed place. ALLAH is all good but we constantly find ways of ruining and sinning excessively,
    Why wouldn’t a person deserve punishment of hell if they don’t follow ALLAH.
    I’m a really bad Muslim and I am ashamed of what I do. I don’t fulfil the rights of Islam. I really can’t think of anything better than Islam.
    There’s nothing better than Islam. However we are too weak for this world. May Allah purify our hearts and protects from the evil from ourselves.
    Pray for me I am a suicidal Muslim, but I know for a fact this is due to my own sins. I hate every action I do against Islam but I have too much waswasaaa, I fear for my Islam. I pray still ALLAH guides me but if I go hell I truely deserve it but I still ask ALLAH for mercy and forgiveness and pardoning.

      My dear brother, I feel you have misunderstood the context. The questions posed in this video such as why pray etc are put there because as a young Muslim, I had these questions but no answers. I didn’t go into too much detail other than to say that I have discovered that there are answers to every single relevant question in Islam. Allah has ordained rules both physical and spiritual and the world follows scientific order. The answers for everything exist. In shaa Allah, we will cover some of these topics one by one in the future and hopefully shed some light on some of the issues we have dealt and deal with.
      As for you, my brother, I will pray for you. It is said that Allah is how you expect him to be. Expect your lord to be forgiving and merciful. I understand that this life is full of temptation and sin and this can prove difficult. Try to take some comfort in these words. The only power the Shaytaan has over you is to whisper. That’s all. The emotions, the thoughts, the habits, the doubts, anxiety, anger, stress, sadness, feeling you’re not enough and don’t fit it, that no one understands you, not being worthy, being broken.. all of these thoughts are not your own. They are the whispers. The biggest trick the Shaytaan ever pulled was convincing you that he is you. The Shaytaan flows through us like blood. That is why his whispers cause chemical reactions and emotions. But they are only whispers. You have the power to choose who you want to be today, what you want to do, and how you want to live. Our bodies and brains are like computers and get used to algorithms and patterns. That’s why these things continue. Change the code. Change the input. Decide to do something different and take back control. You are in control of you, my brother. It’s hard and takes time but don’t allow anyone to control you other than you. The Shaytaan is just a jinn. He only whispers.
      I pray that you find strength and ease and that Allah showers you with blessings, mercy, and forgiveness. You are only good. Your ruh, your nafs, your mind, your heart is good. Don’t let anything fool you into thinking otherwise.
      Feel free to reach out to me on insta if you want to talk about anything.
      Your brother, Sufyan.

      We will be making dua for you, brother. With this particular issue, take some action. Delete insta, tik tok, anything which allows you to see the things which tempt you. Put a block on your phone or laptop. Even if you end up taking it off, it is an extra step of prevention. It is so easy to access that it can repeat so you have to put up some restrictions. Obv pray and fast too. Spend time with with people. We actually have a video on this topic coming up soon too as it is something which is affecting so many people. You must rid yourself of the things which make this occur so frequently, my brother. Just start today and fight it. I am with you my bro and Allah is with us all.
