Males are more emotional reactive (violence, aggression, controlling etc.)and women are more emotionally expressive (communication, crying, nagging, complaining, etc.). One can cause others to lose their life or suffer all types of abuse, while the other side is mostly just extremely annoying to males as they have the capacity of a cup to identify, communicate, express and process emotions. I am happy when a woman can find a good man, but most will not be so fortunate. Ladies stay safe.
Suf was more triggered. Amara was speaking her truth about men and he was speaking her down. Everything she said was valid. And playing devils advocate to someone's pet peeve is sort of unfair. Loved the back and forth.

I think alot of the questions when it comes to the opposite sex is subjective and based on personal experiences, because boyyyyyyyy my answers were so different to you guys!

wallahi this podcast is so very good. you can tell that you both really mentally stimulate each other and that is cool to watch 🙃 Allahumabarik. Both of you are generally good listeners and good at articulating your thoughts which is what makes this so interesting. Sufyan is generally good at being fair Allahumabarik. I can see how him playing "the devil's advocate" really helps you both to come to a fair conclusion. He gets his point across quite precisely without diminishing Amaarah's experiences/opinions. 100/10 content. You guys have been holding the title of my favourite couple on youtube for a while now. I genuinely find myself thinking about your conversations throughout my day. Also, seeing the lovely 7 year (i think) gap you have between yourselves has really opened my mind to the possibility of marrying a man who is that many years older than me. It honestly seems to be going swimmingly for you two Allahumabarik. Tbh it surprised me when i found out that you both weren't the same age because of how well you complement one another (that just tells you about the way western society influences my mindset smh). Because of the two of you, I'm really starting to see the wisdom in not being too fixated on marrying someone that's exactly your age (as modern western society prefers). May Allah guide us all and put barakah in all our endeavours. Ameen.

Asalamoalikum the X’s, i really enjoy your podcats, especially discussing taboos subjects. So thanks for that. I would like to mention though in your opinions for who has it easier men or women, in Islam (for those who practice true Islam) i think Allah created a balance between the roles of men and women. Although men go out and earn the money as the provider and they are the protector a woman is expected to manage the household, provide a good upbringing to the children, and support her husband. Yes a woman does not get paid for her ‘job’ as a housewife and mother however, that does not mean her efforts/duties are not equal to men. I feel Islam brings a balance and equality for men and women, that takes into account their biological strengths and capabilities. No hate, much love, i would just like to give my perspective. 😊

How about the women in predominantly muslim countries where girls/women can’t get an education and are suffering, i.e. afghanistan. Trust me I recognize just like in every religion there are those who are flourishing but there is also those who are suffering at the hands of males and the systems and laws they are in place. When you have 2 containers, one is a cup and the other is pool. If you fill both and ask which one has it harder, the cup is right if it feels it has it harder. It can only handle a cup of water and can never know what its like to be a pool. Women are like the pool, we have so much more capacity to to think and feel in this life than males. We can imagine what it would be like to just be the cup, thus we can have empathy for males. And it’s unfortunate that males can’t grasp this while women we have compassion and understanding how hard it is for males, given that they have testosterone and the small containers that they are limited to. Males needs the woman but very few will ever really love and appreciate how amazing a quality woman is.
