I'm starting over Giannis, I'm starting over Giannis. I had to tell the coaching staff to start him. The best.
Crazy how aware of his place in the NBA he has been
For sure... he's the super vet!
I don't think its that crazy if you've known how long he was in the league and how smart he is
Dawg his best is giannis worst ok he might get u 15 pts on a great day and at that time G-ant was a skinny ass kid but that's why it he damn sure wasn't the reason he wasn't starting
Shout to Theo for putting some respect on Jabari’s name ✊🏾
Gotta give flowers where they are due!
@@RunYourRaceTL they aren't due. His horrible defense more than outweighed any contribution he made on offense.
@@benji3900 lmfaooo you were never good enough for us to know you. Stfu 🤡
@@benji3900injury killed him. Sadly soon as he arrived in the nba even worse than grant hill. At least hill got a good 5 year run. Them are 2 sad injury ruined careers from duke.
Love the honesty “I didn’t know he was going to be that good”
Always liked him as a player. Interview made me like him more.
Bro- I fucking love Giannis !! I want my son to be just like this man.. Respect
the Meat ridin is crazy
@@SirCash. nah, they're just saying he's a good role model. we all had that athlete we LOVED & looked up to as kids, and we hope our children feel that way about a guy with strong values, like giannis
His work ethic is something I want my son to have as well
@@SirCash. take a look at Giannis and his family’s story to how they got where they are now
@@SirCash. damn fatherless behavior
Man that team was special 14-15 bucks team was special. It was the first time, in over a decade, the Bucks were looking like a team on the rise. 4 potential all-stars 23 or younger. Brandon Knight and Jabari Parker both were coming into their own and were having really great seasons, and like Dudley said we had a lot of bench pieces(including him)...Then the MCW trade ruined everything. Knight got traded. Parker got hurt. MCW was running the offense into the ground, and the bucks went to the lottery for a few years even though Giannis was becoming Giannis, and Middleton was becoming one of the best shooters in the league.
That bucks team was special! a lot of fun as well. Hope you enjoyed the content
I love the way you guys edit actual NBA game into your clips. I've always thought more interviews should do that. You guys earned a sub from today
We appreciate that !! Hope you’re enjoying the content
Your comment made me sub and I haven’t even seen the clip yet
I will NEVER forget how crucial he was as a vet on the Nets. The Brooklyn Nets is my favorite team btw. We all know about the drama D-lo had coming out of LA and only JD could take him under his wing…he was semi coaching in 2018-19 and helped develop D’Angelo, Caris, Jarret Allen into what they are today. Forever respect for Dudley for what he did in Milwaukee and Brooklyn
For only having been a Buck for one season, Dudley quickly became one of my favorites. He was just a glue guy. You could see the impact he had on that locker room and the respect he received from all those younger guys. And while the numbers may not look crazy, he was just such an intelligent player who knew where to be on the court at all times, and was pretty instrumental in terms of showing the kind of guy you needed around Giannis; a tough defender who could knock down long range shots.
Was sad to see him go at the time, though if that’s what he wanted, I get it.
That 2014-15 Bucks team was the most exciting team nobody talked about. The trade for MCW was not popular but the front office basically had to choose between Knight and Middleton as to who they were going to re-sign long term, and obviously they made the right choice in Middleton. In addition, as Dudley alluded to here, they thought MCW was a future star at the point, which didn’t turn out but whatever. As a lifelong Bucks fan, these last few years have been nothing short of awesome and the team described in this video was the start of it all.
one of the oldheads that i will be definetely looking for his opinion on nba happenings in the future because he always keeps it 100
One of my favorites, one of the best locker room guy.
Both Theo and Jared are great locker room / culture guys.
Jared Dudley was a nemesis of Kobe then helped bron in the bubble. He’s Forest Gump of the NBA.
This team made bucks basketball exciting again. I’m glad he mentioned Brandon Knight. I was pissed when they traded him.
Fuck Brandon knight he stayed getting dunked on and crossed 😂
That guy used to murder me in NBA 2K lol, I think when he was on the Sun's. Would always bury 3pt shots against me.
The Bucks team jumped from 15 wins in 13-14 to 41 in 14-15, becoming the 6th seed. This turnaround of 26 games is not in the Top 5 of all time but for reference is 4 games better than the 22 win turnaround of this years Cavs team. Jabari Parker was playing a good rookie season through 25 starts before his injury averaging 12.3 points, 5.5 boards, 1.7 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.2 blocks a game in 29.5 minutes a game.
man jabari had a great start to his career, sucks to see injuries rob him like they did. to average 20 after tearing your acl that early in your career is crazy
fck that couch looks comfy as!
Mavs practise facility.. it was made for massive people lmao
Yo this is 🔥🔥🔥🔥
Love listening to JD hes so insightful. That clips insert was cool too, I remember Bayless winning it but forgot the Dudley pass
Giannis n Kris been on that team for so long
This was pretty cool. Good to have some veteran insight
The best part about that Melo clip is he's laughing and Giannis is DEAD SERIOUS😂
I love that he listed the roster that team was somwtjing back then
Bucks fan here. thank you for pointing out B Knight! he was my favorite player on that team then and he was a beast that MCW trade fucked us up so bad!
Smh i always felt Jabari and Giannis were supposed to be the front court equivalent of Steph and Klay. Man injuries really suck
What made you ever think that? Parker was awful. His offense was so-so but his defense was horrible. It isn't the injury that took him out of the league. He's unplayable because he just cannot play defense
A pro's pro. Put respect on Dudley's name✌️
NBA Champion
damn i forgot how bad the bucks were at that time! i still remember first hopping on the giannis bandwagon the day i saw that coast to coast dunk vs NY lmao. now the bucks are consistently contenders with Giannis as the best player in the league. crazy how much things can change
That’s the biggest couch I have ever seen in my life.
Those couches look so comfy
Yo!! What kind of couch’s are those? They look super comfortable!
Jabari was really that he needs to be back in the league
Jabrai Parker is injury prone he too soft not the same since 2014 till 2017.
@@frankie1925 also, he doesn't get paid to play defense.
Jabari was weak ass fuck lmao he was like that in high school and college
@@frankie1925 y’all forget giannis first all star season in 2017 you could’ve made a legit argument that Jabari could’ve joined him in NOLA
@@DJNYU huh you never watch bucks at all
that was such a cool bucks team
When he said OJ Mayo that brought Plenty memories
Young Giannis was like: I got Melo. Impressive
damn JD is on POINT! he should be calling games
while he’s employed by the mavericks? Great take buddy
He's coaching
Duddly REAL. Remember when he call out Ben Brickson. Jarred was spot on!
when I hear Brandon knight I just think of that DeAndre poster
Where’s the full interview

Jabari was never killing Anything but the Bucks defensive schemes. As much good as he did on offense he more than outweighed with how bad he was on defense.
Small ball saved PJ Tuckers career. I guess he would be the guy to relate to Dudley.
Bro just did Khris Middleton like that 😭
@August he played for the Pistons in his first year then got traded to Milwaukee In a Brandon Jennings trade, he's been in Milwaukee the same length giannis has
Brandon knight never got his respect for how good he was on the bucks
dude forgot about Khris Middleton
@August nah, bucks traded Brandon Jennings for Brandon knight and Middleton.
LOVED Dudley for us, hated to see him leave the Bucks! Smh
"THE VET"!
They naming good players with a lot of talent but those bucks could never get it together. It was always something.
Kidds a bad coach.
very hilarious retelling of history in this one
🎯
That has to be the biggest couch on CZcams
No bullshit that team with BJ, Oj, Jabari , Giannis, Larry would’ve been crazy if healthy
Brandon knight got trade for MCW but more importantly Khris Middleton came over from Philly in that trade too.
That's a nice ass couch.
He was a PROBLEM at Boston College
Is that big Sean?
Jabari wasn't that cold. And if he was, it was literally for a min. I remember watching him not do much alot. Especially after talking big.
G.o.d
you right about the minute his 3rd year his peak 20 pts on 56 ts% 6 reb a steal and a 110 o rating. end of year injuries come next year plays 31 only starts 3 games sad. not a huge peak but for 3rd year things were looking good
@@tupacalypse88 he was competing with carter Williams
@@diamonddrone6231mcw was there for jabari's first 2 years.
@@tupacalypse88 I thought jabari was like second season when mcw was in philly
GOAT
Oj mayo was nasty
Why does Jared Dudley sound like Snoop?
Jared Dudley look like Joe Budden in the thumb
Stop interrupting him all the time
Dude was slowing down year 6 lol
Let's be completely honest here, Jabari never ever lived up to the expectations. And Dudley was never more athletic than anyone in the NBA in his entire career.
So if Dudley never let Giannas start we would never seen the Giannas wow 😂
🧢
I thought Giannis was going to be the bucks PG.😆
imagine a 7 foot point guard going downhill 👀
He was and crazy good at it.
Now he's a point mega wing whatever tf 😂😂😂
How did Middleton not get mentioned?? 😅
He wasnt quite "that guy" yet. Very efficient but super low usage.
@@matthewweyer3818 Hard disagree. Middleton was what allowed the Bucks to trade Knight. I remember reading articles about how trading Knight gave Middleton a "prove it" moment to be the guy, and he showed it to earn a contract. He was definitely on the rise and a significant young player at that stage, so Dudley not mentioning Middleton (likely forgot) is a pretty big omission.
Bro your better off Interviewing Ramon Sessions or Gerald Green….. Jared Dudley???? 😂
He’s had more impact than both players…. How long you been watching ball lol?
@@Balmighty7 more impact? Because he yells and stands up for his teammates? Lol clearly longer than you
@@Balmighty7 more than Green? Boy does Dudley even own an All nba selection
@@deathbydesign6r623 uhhhhhh yeah in the later years he was an active sniper at one time on the suns 2011-2012-2013 lol those guys you mentioned shit the bed in the playoffs especially Ramon sessions
@@Balmighty7 you clearly a new fan my guy I don’t even think Sessions played in the playoffs with the sorry bobcats
You got my point
For a second I thought that was bubba ray dudley and I was like why the fuck is he talking about giannis on a podcast
Lol Jason Kidd gets around 44 wins a season... Get Bud for one season, 60+ wins lol... That's all you need to know about Kidd's ability to coach.
Giannis has more rings than melo btw
It's crazy how he talks like he was ever important
You clearly don't understand things that can be important to a team winning. There are things he said AND did in this video alone that help you win
@@silewis9396 It's clear that you were that dude on the bench that never contributed to wins. Fat Dudley didn't contribute shit. If he did, we would've seen, he probably would've gotten resigned w the Lakers, and he wouldn't feel the need to have to explain how he helped so, so much "behind the scenes".
@@silewis9396 if you took Dudley off the team, the Lakers would've still won. If Dudley never joined the team, i think the Lakers would've still won.
@@saltlakers5863 You say this stuff because you don't understand team chemistry or what it takes off the court to make a championship team. He did impactful things people who play 30 mins cannot do
@@saltlakers5863 Also he signed a one year in 19/20 and then DID get resigned. For a reason.
He was there with Kidd during the bubble win and where is he now? On Kidd's coaching staff. For a reason.
