    Im a bigger fan of Justin Gatlin today than Ive ever been. He is one of the realest, most consistent athletes of our lifetime and an absolute genetic freak.

    Funny I have liked Justin a lot since he retired but never liked him when he was running...My uncle met him in Grenada and said he is not as bad as he appears on TV and he is a genuinely nice guy.

    I am glad Justin had his parents.
    This was probably his learning lesson in life. He passed with flying colors.
    GOB BLESS YOU!!!

    The real truth is Dennis Mitchell is not only a PED user but a PED administering coach along with Trevor Graham and Gatlin was a user and it’s effects last long term. Period. Accept acknowledge and move on like Marion.

    I’m a big Gatlin fan however I wish he had opened up about the events that transpired for him to end up in that position. If nothing else it would help others maybe avoid a similar fate.

      Fair enough and I agree my brotha, in most cases or from my eyes looking in athletes usually don't open until their retired from sports.

    I think it is likely that the trainers around Justin were administering testosterone to him without his knowledge and a competitive coach who know about this was the one who dropped dime with USDA and they did unannounced testing based upon this inside information. The coach who I think dropped dime on Justin is still coaching sprinters today

    I feel sorry for him but bruh these questions didn’t get the truth out. Clearly the interviewer is a close friend… all I wanted him to ask was did you ever dope/ tried to gain an unfair advantage. Simple

    Cool interview, cool dudes.
    But "allegations", "being accused"..... cmon now, let`s keep it real.
    Ain´t a big deal anyways, cause anyone in the track community knows that peds are just part of the game.

    Justin, you'll always have the benefit of the doubt with objective people. However, as @tinashechaps2315 commented, going a bit futher about the situation origin, and advising others on how to avoid same, would've been ideal.
    From the innocence standpoint, I've always wondered why folks i.e Asafa and yourself never pursued Civil damages from the person(s) that wronged you (all).
    A few situations feel incomplete, that's what leaves an asterisk more than anything else.

    What I don't like the fact he can't admit to taking the drug and saying to other don't do like Me u will earn real respect that way the people around and ur fans will respect the real respect is from the rest of us track world u and flo Jo and the ussr in the same boat u show no remorse

    • @Nyasalands_Finest
      @Nyasalands_Finest Před rokem +1

      He doesn't need or want your respect. You think he wakes up and thinks "I got to look for Dwayne Sullivan's or anyone's approval and respect?" Some of you folks need to get rid of your delusions of grandeur. He's an Olympic and World champion. Something only a few have done. Oh and you're niave to think elite sprinters are clean... 9/10 of the fastest men ever prior to 2018 had been caught or entangled in some drug story.. This is the real world and you need to get out of your little bubble and high horse and live in this big bad world. That's the reality of this world..🤣

      If you’re taking about the 2nd ban then fair enough but the first one was an amphetamine for his ADD which wouldn’t have boosted his performance.

    • @lesibamoja1901
      @lesibamoja1901 Před rokem +4

      I guess one would ask what would he have to gain from “admitting”?
      The respect of strangers is overrated in my opinion.
      He probably knows how many athletes were being protected by the drug commission yet he’s being singled out.
