dude has a knife like Rambo lol
Is this meant for port injection setups or would this also aid in upgrading the DI fuel delivery system? I have your 535lph lpfp installed and was planning on doing a long line kit with ethanol sensor and inline fuel filter so I can get rid of the HPFP filter. Would this be something I should look at instead?
This replaces the factory regulator/filter unit, and it allows you to replace the filter element as needed. What exactly do you mean by HPFP filter?
@@PrecisionRaceworks The little basket filter that goes in the HPFP inlet. I guess they get gummed up over time and it helps to remove it and add a high flow in-line filter instead
Ok, wasn't sure if that was specifically what you were meaning. That is a VERY fine mesh screen and you would want any filter that will provide that filtration to be located between PI and the HPFP ideally. We do not typically recommend removing it, but instead cleaning it, as it is the final protection for these very expensive injectors.
Any plans on adding a second fuel outlet for the guys running a separate line to pi with its own manifold refrenced regulator?
With the increased flow through this unit, it eliminates the need to have a separate line to PI.
@@PrecisionRaceworks how would i keep a manifold reference for my pi regulator and keep di on a static regulator ? I really like the piece nice work i like to keep pi manifilold refrenced and with 43psi i plan on running that puts pi around 32psi give or take on a static setup i still want to keep them separate for that reason
So what happen to the oem FPR connector?
I'm assuming you mean the electrical connector. Unfortunately, you will need to make a hard connection to the wires.
Good news! Since this video was posted, we were able to include a replacement connector to make the top side plug & play! You will still have to strip and crimp the wires to the float on the underside though.
I assume you also sell the -6 fuel line that goes to the front as well?
Of course!!! But, this will work with any existing line setup that currently goes from the tank to the engine using the OEM connections! Our fuel lines also include connections for an ethanol sensor as well!
