Poland is a seriously underrated place to visit. I had to go there for work, had no idea what it was like, but it was one of the cleanest and safest feeling countries I’ve been to and with some amazing pine forest roads.

the e32 is such a beast, i remember being a mechanics apprentice at a retro bmw specialist back in 2012, they had a bunch of classic bmws in the yard either for parts or selling and there was a e32 (i cant remember which engine) which was parked in the lot since the mid 90s and they put a new battery and fuel in and it started instantly

You can do it through the number plate light on an E32 as well if the boot won't open.
An ex AA patrolman I knew said he used to get into Cavaliers by sending 12 volts up the reversing light switch wire, then putting a steel ruler in through the drivers door edge and banging the hinge which tripped the crash sensor and released the deadlocks. Probably works for other older stuff too!
As a Polish person I would love to see a 7 series road trip. The 7 series road trip needs to be done. I actually flew down to London in August to collect my high mileage e65 730d. Then drove it the 505 miles home the same day. Best decision I've made in years. Absolute bargain and a cracking car....

Definitely a road trip to Poland!! You're gonna love the carscene and the people are fantastic! I've been twice and loved it both times, and the food in restaurants is incredible!
Being a european courier, I can hand on heart tell you that you will LOVE Poland, its one of my favourite countries to deliver to, lovely scenery, friendly people and its very, very cheap for fuel 😂.
That E32 is sweet, incredible that it started so easily after sitting for years. I used to have one the same, from 1989, also with a manual gearbox. I bought it in 2002 so it was fairly old but was a lovely car to drive. Owning it was a bit more of a trail, I quickly came to dread the "bong" sound that accompanier a warning on the display, at least it was easy to work on though.

That E38 with those wheels and that colour is my genuine dream car - I’ve looked them up on and off for like 3 years and just can’t justify the cost currently. Definitely do the road trip (and more with the E38 if you can!!)

you can also poke a flat bladed screwdriver through a hole in the n/s grill, which will pop the bonnet latch for access to the fuse box, add power to c/l fuse and should be in. Works on most 80/90 BMW's

An E38 is one of my favourite cars in the world! Seeing a roadtrip with a group of 7 series would be amazing especially with you guys! They really are lovely cars, my dad has had at least one of every genertaion of 7 series since they began (with exception to the new G70)
I once locked the only key to my Focus ST170 in the boot and the RAC came out and took the high level brake light out, put a jump pack to the 12v wires and the car unlocked. He made me swear on all the lives that I would never ever use the method to steal anything.

My dad had a factory Oxford green E32 735i manual which he bought from new, back in the day. It was epic, I remember it took forever to be delivered as BMW UK and then BMW Germany apparently sequentially said "....manual? Eh?" and really didn't want to build it. God knows how rare they are.
Usual steering column issues with the manifolds and exhaust …bet they had to design some bits just to make it work in a rhd.

General: lifted on the jack and put power cables directly on the terminals of the starter. This is how it is done if you do not have the trunk open. I'v done that on my 735i e32, island green , manual😶🌫️..comm more for the algoritm🤫

I had exactly the same issue with my E90 as Taylor is having with his X5. Sent the ABS unit off to ECUtesting for a rebuild it sorted it completely!

If you wedge the brake pedal and keep the brakes pressurized overnight it will eliminate all air bubbles. It absolutely works hard to understand why, saved me on many motorcycles that refused to completely bleed.
Poland is a fantastic country bound to be a fantastic roadtrip. When I broke an E46 a few years ago a massive proportion of the buyers of bits were Polish and they clearly have a love for the marque.

Polish LPG shops do the job mostly well, and you can get it fitted with top shelf parts for much cheaper than in UK.

I had an E38 740 Sport as a daily driver for 4 years, I absolutely loved that car and still kick myself for selling it. I also did the bilstein B6 conversion and for a big old barge she handled really well. I love this age of BMW and earlier, very jealous of the burgundy E28 you have in the garage. I look forward to seeing the E32 being restored back to its former glory. Great content guys, can't wait for what you have up your sleeves for 2024.
Did you have many issues with it? I’d love to jump into one but the maintenance costs..
@@FlyasaDiamond A broken spring and some failed suspension components, so when I upgraded the shocks and springs to Bilstein B6 and H&R I did a complete refresh of all the arms and bushes front and rear. It's a big heavy car so expect to do some of that work. The 4.4 l v8 is a solid engine, the only bits that I had to do were the rocker cover gaskets on two occasions as this era of BMW does love an oil leak. Other than that it was just the normal service when it was due. I would have another in a heartbeat and was trawling all the usual websites after watching the video yesterday. Plenty of chav'd up ones out there that have been ruined so avoid them.

To unlock the e32 you could of just pulled the drivers door handle up, then turned the key clockwise, then anticlockwise, this manually unlocks just the drivers door! I have a white factory manual e32 735i. Great channel. Thanks guys

As a bloke who adores his 320Ci (despite it looking shite on the outside), I wish there'd be a bit more love for the M54B22 engined E46. Yes, it's slow compared to the big/bigger boys, but that does mean I can cane the f**k out of it almost everywhere, which is surely what it's all about. P.S. it's got a full exhaust (including tubular manifolds), so it sounds ace & I can pretend to be Andy Priaulx driving to the shops!

Dailied a E32 for half a year last fall, was a nice thing to drive when it got cold outside, as the M30 warmed up the inside of the car in no time. Also, because it was very thirsty ofc.
It would be nice to see you guys go further east than the Nurburgring, though I'm sure you would take those 7 series around a lap on the way. 😁

Don’t break the window of the e32. You can hook up the battery if you just remove the lights for the plates. Charge the battery via the clamp of the Bild till you can unlock it.
