Heart Steel is a pretty good option for Skarner, even better than sunfire aegis to rush it first item
Yeah it's definitely not bad at all, I've been finding it a little underwhelming but in my head it should be amazing on him!
I rush the burn item for Sunfire, but leave it there, then get heartsteel. That gives you the clear speed, so heartsteel takes only a smidge longer, but you're still clearing faster. Making it worth it. I've only had good experiences with skarner, even back when his win rate was in the 30s.

I've seen people play Skarner with Aftershock and build Sunfire Aegis first, does this mean he could be played as a tank jungler as well depending what the team needs?
Yeah absolutely he is best as a tank jungler and aftershock is very viable!

@@3MinuteLeagueofLegends He is more than just viable as a toplaner. Skarner has an overall higher winrate in top than jgl, and in Korea top even has a higher pickrate!

Conq and sheen items feel very uncomfortable on him. Id suggest phase rush or probably comet because its mostly a guaranteed hit. Rush a bamis item instead of frost fire
Comet is pretty wild, Conq is always solid but I agree, phase rush seems like the great choice on him!

I must be doing something wrong with new skarner, it is a healthy clear but i dont know if its fast (enough). My record first clear is 7 seconds after scutle... Is that good? How can I change that if not?
From what I've found Skarner very first clear yes quite slow. After that he clears far faster with some levels and at least 1 item

Keep practicing you can get a 3:15 if doing the clear perfectly, but a 3:20/3:25 is perfectly duable
Ofc i am talking about no leash clear too, if you get a leash the clear is even better
That is pretty slow! Make sure to use E between camps to slam the monster into terrain! This lowers the cooldown and is more damage and of course lets you run through walls!

Can you explain what's happening that's causing the dash movement on Skarner here? I'm assuming vayne knockback before he ulted but its sooo late it seems weird.

@@JorgeTorres-uy1yma fast jungle clear is like idk 3:15/3:20 if you are bad at the champ, like fiddlesticks for example.
Meanwhile this skarner can get maximum a 3:15 when clearing perfectly.
It is a decent clear dont get me wrong, but not fast.
Also if you are bad with him or mess something up the risk of ending up clearing at a 3:30/3:40 is real
Yeah he’s able to pretty consistently clear in 3:15 I find, easily getting you to skuttle with 80% health! Make sure to use E between camps! Remember slamming the jungle monster into the wall is more damage and lowers the cooldown!
Grasp is better and ghost is a better SS
Yeah I really like ghost in a lot of match ups, but flash will still often be better - grasp is solid enough but I've been finding it pretty underwhelming as a whole compared to phase rush or the classic conq!
NO PLIS don't call him Skarner anymore, he's not my Skarner, the Skarner i known

Amazing ganks...? You mean all of his full on telegraphed abilities that warn you what he's going to do when he picks up a rock? About to ult a small area? or goes through a wall? Those amazing? super easily dodgable amazing ganking abilities?
Bad guide he needs more data, dont go flash go ghost,
Ghost is good if you want to skirmish, but you’re giving up a lot by not taking the flash ults!
Do you rush Heartsteel when ahead, or was that you just testing items?
Mostly just testing items and honestly I didn’t think it was great on him!
