  • There are very few luxury brands that spoke with men first. As a matter of fact, most of them count women as their primary audience. There is a reason why Gucci is doing 9bn USD of revenue. Women are more inclined to spend. Plus, they have many categories across the hard and soft luxury to spend on.
Men tend to spend on fewer items, but the ticket prices can be towards the north. I speak about the brands that have Men as their primary audience: Ermenegildo Zegna, Kiton, Brunello Cucinelli, Loro Piana.
Also learn which are the new, upcoming groups that are collecting brands with history and distinctive positioning under their repertoire.

    Well done and very informative.
I'd like to know more about Men's luxury brands. I feel that most of these brands are at least a few decades old, and position themselves around legacy / certain geography / top designer which is very similar to premium Scotch brands as well. So, a few questions I'd like to know more about - i) Have some luxury brands have been able to emerge strongly in say 8-10 years time frame ii) How are these luxury brands able to command such a premium, etc. Looking fwd to more of your videos.
