Please post more clips/examples of things you’re talking about, the bucks clip with nekias pointing out the preemptive defensive switch is my favorite part of the show

I’m a Nuggets homer, but I totally enjoyed your deep dives on the other teams especially the Charlotte segment of all things! 😁 It’s so easy to write struggling teams off as “trash” or “bad teams,” but I still think they are still some of the best athletes and coaches on the planet who work hard and play with pride and _have to_ be pretty good to even get a few wins in this incredible League!

Man I thought i was the only one who noticed the stuff with dame. He’s actually having a great year defensively and he’s passing the ball really really well! I noticed it during the Philly and Minnesota games. It feels like he’s just stopped thinking so much and just started playing. He definitely has missed some the shots he usually makes but I think they’ll eventually drop.
Just gotta note with that "leaving Brook at the 3pt line" bit leads to a funny analysis: it turns out Nurkic is actually more mobile than he gets credit for! Brook is doing well but he is not rolling to the basket in a way that breaks defenses. Bonus points if Nekias gets to be the one to acknowledge that wrinkle retroactively!

Jokic's defense is developing into a Marc Gasol style and the league isn't ready to admit it.
I get what yall are saying about the Suns but as a Suns fan, i would be happy if teams want to continue to leave the #1 3 pt shooter in the league open to stop the mid range game from the big 3. I mean isn't that analytical perfection to some degree?
I think part of the issue with people who dont watch the Suns a lot is that everyone really narrows in on the big 3 when i would argue the Suns best offensive games have been when the others are consistently getting wide open shots. The supporting cast is far better than last year when it comes to making teams pay. Also, this big 3 is unique in that none of them need 20 shots a game to stay happy and we actually tend to be worse when they are throwing up that many. Lakers game was a good example of all of these points where KD and Book shooting was not really the most efficient part of our offense (because of the attention they got) and when the others were given space to work thats when the buckets started flowing.

Tbf there isn't much to talk about. Aside from their weak bench and sometimes inconsistent level of play, they're flawless. As good as expected, probably the favourites

Nobody said that with the MJ Bulls, the showtime Lakers or Larry Bird Celtics, golden era Warriors etc. This Nuggets team has so many great storylines and is fun to watch on and off the court and the more people saw them during and after the Finals, the more they loved them!
The mainstream NBA media machine very intentionally slights Joker and the Nuggets (which I have way too much evidence of 😂 but no time to compile and share), so it really is a treat when we get analysts who really see and understand the team beyond Joker’s impossible stat lines. Even if they’re not people’s favorite team, I just want more people to see and enjoy the Nuggets fun play and Joker - our “cyborg” legend in the making lol - while we have him.😊
@@jesstiss222 I can assure you that NBA media doesn't have anything against Jokic, he just doesn't bring enough money in when he's the subject. I thoroughly enjoy everything going on with the Nuggets and on the court they're probably a top 5 most entertaining team in the league. It's just that Jokic isn't really a jersey seller and he'll never be, that's just not him. At least that means that whenever people talk about the Nuggets, it's probably some actual analysts who know how to make their viewers appreciate Denver. Beats being on First Take all the time and not hearing an ounce of actual basketball analysis

Gordon seems to be worse this year from 3. He's never been great but he was consistent enough to keep the defense honest last year. Whatever is going on, he seems to have lost confidence in the shot.

Another Nuggets fan who agrees! I think he’s the best active player alive, BUT I don’t think he has to carry the entire team quite so much - his powers in some ways have dissipated out through the starting lineup, so I think one of the rising stars (Shai, Luka, Brunson, etc) should probably earn it.
They really messed up with not awarding it to him last year but I think others are just as worthy this year and shouldn’t be robbed by a “makeup” MVP award
