Latin (among others like Aramaic and Akkadian) are considered dead languages not because they're no longer used, but because the overarching vocabulary isn't actively growing! There's no new words being added or removed from usage, so the language is more aptly described as stagnant, but dead is more fun to say. Thanks for reading!

However, I would contest that languages with no living speakers could be considered dead. My mind’s blanking on an example but I know there are languages that are no longer spoken at all.

Russian here, this kind of chocolate usually has a certain form like a person or an animal, and has toys inside, but yeah, it tastes bad because it's cheap. There's literally no way to mistake it, they are wrapped as a candy. People usually give them to children cus the wrapping is kind of pretty, it's almost like a toy.

Literally thought this was another person I’m subbed to (emkay). I wasn’t really playing attention until I saw the character on the side. I was like hmm must’ve new. Watched til the end to see he has a gaming channel, was even more confused, but subbed because I like gaming. Video ends then I find out he’s a whole different person.
