Great that you showed us the "warts and all" of model railroads. You know, inexperienced guys like myself learn more from guys like yourself Gary than watching channels which have been immunised in case errors happen. You may think that you are lacking. Far from it. It is guys like yourself Gary that make the hobby interesting and, while doing so, it also encourages the novice to keep going. So, give yourself a major pat on the back and congrat yourself from all of us novices. Love your channel, Mike

Gary,, don't let the trolls get to you. Don't waste your energy on them. I thought the flash flood warning had come on my TV. The pour came pretty well. Except for those little spills. The murky water resin was a good choice for that location. Looks great. Thanks for sharing. And again, haters are gonna hate. Don't let 'em bug you. See ya next time.

I think both water features came out looking great. I learn more every time I see someone go through that process with the Woodland Scenics deep pour product. Thanks for sharing.

Gary well done and yep leaks happen even when sealed correctly - lucky for me I had a towel under where I was pouring. The affect you have is awesome, so well done.

    Looks great Gary!

Nice scenery Gary. Glad I subbed to your channel. What you've done there is very impressive. The one thing I've been avoiding like the plague is water! And dont waste your brain power on negative people. Always remember - it's your railroad, and you can do what you like with it and what your'e doing is looking good. Keep up the good work.

New Subscriber and what an eye for detail you have! Great looking layout. I'm going to use the same product under the bridge on my layout. Thanks for sharing, helps and motivates me to get better at the hobby.

Thanks! The water looks good after a coat of matte finish especially around the edges. I'm thinking too... If you do it in two pours it may not have the tendency to soak up in the surrounding scenery,... So you don't have to redo as much around the edges. Pour the first part just shy so it soaks up to the point that you want the top level to be.... give it try it can't hurt. Also... Don't take your eye off of it for a minute!! I went to help wife carry in groceries and in 4 minutes it jelled up so I was not able to pop a couple bubbles. Bad timing... But I'll be able cover those I think with a swimmer and maybe a boat. I like the Murky look the water has.

Great work Gary. The water scenes look awesome. Like the murky water look. Plan on using it myself. Looks like you used multiple colors in your pond/bog bottoms. What other colors did you use? Oooops! Missed your video from 2 days ago where you talked more about the pond development. Anthony
