  • This Downstream Injector Pressure Washing video will assist with installing a Downstream Bypass Injector. I had a few questions about the operation and where to install a bypass downstream injector, so I thought I'd shoot this quick video. if you have any questions email me at pressurecleaningschool@gmail.com

    Hi Doug see alot of setups with the injector on the straight shot, high pressure on the loop. Been using it just the opposite with the injector on the loop, and straight shot on the rinse for the flow. What's your opinion? Thanks Doug.

      Been using it both way’s and I haven’t noticed a discernible difference. The last few builds we’ve done we did it w the rinse on the straight. Haven’t changed the ones on my rigs yet cause like I said I just haven’t noticed a difference.

    Do you dillute the bleach in the bucket at all? And is it pure bleach or is there something else in it? I am trying to learn about mixing solutions to softwash and such so I am confused about how the machine dillutes it.

    What if you attach the injector to the wand itself , on the output end . I really hate to see everything getting eaten by the SH. I was thinking 25’ -30’of hose into a bucket- . That would eliminate the bleach running through the hose reel ?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 2 lety +1

      Can certainly try that but I doubt it will pull through that much hose. An X jet will definitely work though.

      @@PressureCleaningSch I was just trying to think of a way to keep chem out of the hose reel but I guess it’s probably easier to just religiously rinse the lines out and every once in awhile maybe spray rust prohibiting on it ? • @BornOfAsh
    @BornOfAsh Před 2 lety +1

    Hey Doug. So i'm new to all this soft washing stuff and my question is, I've seen several videos on this thing called an X-Jet which i'm sure your familiar. I see in your video you have this valve setup that just sets in the bucket of bleach which i think is doing the same thing. Is that called the "downstream injector"? What is that called that's sucking up the bleach solution, and does it pull the bleach solution in a ratio that doesn't waste it? Thanks

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před rokem

      Yes it’s a downstream injector. And it does help prevent waste but spray technique will always help control waste mo matter what you are using

    How are you liking those mad max pressure washers. I want to upgrade from a 4gpm and was looking into the mad max 9 gpm. Just wondering why they are so much cheaper then the pressure pros. Also when down streaming with 9 gpm won’t that dilute the HS considerably

      I love the Mad Max, very well built. No if you use a 2.1 3-5GPM injector you'll be fine on the dilution. Not sure on the pressure pro vs mad max price. We don't carry the Pressure Pro

    Hello Doug. What is the purpose if you can just switch tips for example, on a JROD. Is the purpose of the bypass because of the loss of a bit of pressure and flow?

    • @PressureCleaningSch
      @PressureCleaningSch  Před 3 lety

      Yes loss of flow and pressure...but also, I like rinsing with the same tips I apply with instead of the high pressure tips on the Jrod, so with this I can turn the ball valve and do that. Other way to do it is have separate bucket of clean water and switch the siphon tube from the bleach bucket to the water.

      @@PressureCleaningSch You are a absolute Genius! I was just coming to that same conclusion. Someone suggested a injector bypass kit (ordered it any ) and I'm like it's all about the megs or nozzle time that couldn't be right. I was comparing it to the black plastic nozzle. And the largest one on my j-rod is a lot smaller. I think I got that one from Amazon last year. Maybe I can use it for rinsing only. I ordered a downstream nozzle kit from another company .. something from you next time sorry 😊 Not a Fatboy Bandit but the megs are totally different in design and orifices size . I hope I made a good decision this time. Thank you so much. I'm on my second machine 2.5 to 4 rookie mistake. Can only do surface cleaning.. just not quite there yet to a house wash. 😁
