I appreciate the kind words Doug and yes your customers can certainly call me anytime. The instruction sheet has my cell number so they can store it in their phones just in case they can’t get in touch with you.
I’m glad you brought up the feedback function on the remote as it really gives you peace of mind knowing when you hear the beep it is doing it’s job. It does eliminate looking for a light or hoping it made contact. The best thing is you never have to extend the antenna and testing proved it worked well at 2000 ft.
I would like to mention another advantage of the FlowPro not often talked about. Running a bypass allows you to use a smaller orifice injector to get a stronger mix even when using longer length pressure hose.
Thanks Jud. Appreciate it.
Yep... I can confirm that it's fantastic product for sure! I bought one from Jud last year and it works great! Glad to see you supporting his company. He's a great guy!
Thanks
Great video Doug
Thanks 👍
Had it installed for a couple of days now and I'm loving it.
Can’t do without mine
Awesome video! You have a great ability to teach and explain things that is very easy to understand 😎
Thank you
The flow pro is awsome. I've been using it for a year now and has not let me down.
Awesome. Great to hear.
Judd and Flowpro are solid equipment, especially for price. Excellent customer services
Nice to hear is anybody have Flo pro phone number thank you
Great video, Doug! I'll be assembling mine in a few weeks. This video will definitely help. 👍🏻👉🇺🇸👈
Great. Thank you. Your gonna love it
Great Video !!!!!
Great tutorial, Doug.
Thanks Brian
GREAT VIDEO FOR SELF EMPLOYED!!.:-)
THANKS FOR FREE CLASS!!.:-)
Very helpful thanks man
Very welcome
Good stuff. I ordered mine from you some time back. Plan on putting it together soon. This video was right on time.👍
Awesome. Glad it helped. Have had quite a few w questions so felt a video would help
@@PressureCleaningSch I know you're a busy man Doug but I do have another question for you. If I were to order one more flow pro and have two on the truck for each machine would they interfere with one another?
@@palmtree8604 I’ll answer since I’m on here right now. No, you can run several FlowPro’s on one truck or trailer. I routinely run four on the same job. Good question.
@@JudWest thank you Mr West. I will be purchasing another one then 😎👊
My next upgrade
Another great video! Thanks Doug
Question:
How long does SH last after opened? I usually empty 6 5 gallon pails to fill a 30 gallon tank with SH and soap.
Will that still have potency for a few weeks?
Hard to say how long. But if kept of direct sun light should last a few weeks. Maybe longer in cooler weather.
Thank you for consistent educational videos! Quick question - Will the system work equally well with the FlowPro valve on the straight short run and having the injector installed on the loop? To me, it seems that the water running in a straight line (uninterrupted by 90 degree fittings)(when off the injector) is a better solution.
I’ve used both and have noticed no difference either way.
I have a question. on my last job. My drop stick that’s in my bleach tank started pumping water out of it when I’m off the gun trigger,, as soon as I pull the gun trigger, it starts sucking bleach again… the only thing is, now my bleach is diluted because of pushing water into it when I’m off the trigger. I’m not sure why this is happening. I’ve tried different downstream injectors. But same problem. Will the flow pro solve this problem for me until I get some down time to solve this problem. Or do you even know why this is happening? Thanks . I love your videos. You are a big help.
Hi Doug still to make my order up yet haven’t forgotten
Hey quick question regarding this bypass setup. From what I can see when the valve is open to increase flow isn’t water still going to flow a little through the injection allowing some chem to flow as well ? Cheers
No it will not.
Hey Doug thanks for the video I’m just wondering I have a small van set up will The flow pro work if it’s concealed thanks again
Yes it will
I understand the flow pro as a remote solution for turning soap on/off.. will it draw soap at high pressure?.. my hotsy can run soap at high pressure just the way it is, of course i have to manually turn it on off.. maybe i need a remote to just open/close the valve that already exists lol
No. Not at high pressure
Why don't u put the flowpro in the middle of the bypass and the injector in the loop. That way rinse is a straight shot. Better flow.
Can do either way. Just have always built mine like this for years.
Glad I found this video. This is what I need. Just started in the business and adding slowly. I’ve been running my downstream injector on the loop with the ball valve in a straight line with the feed/outlet line. It works, but am I doing something wrong?? Also, what software do you use to manage your pressure wash business?
Thanks again!
If it’s working then I doubt your doing anything wrong. I e dine then all different ways. Here’s what I use for my business. www.markate.com/?aff=drucker
@@PressureCleaningSch wow! Thanks for the quick response!
Doug how much for the flow pro and also I like to have that bypass line
Hey Doug
What type of bracket are you using that the box is attached to ?
Not really a bracket. It’s threaded rod and we used a couple of pressure washer skid vibration pads
Hey Doug thanks for the video, I have a small van set up will the flow pro work if it is concealed. Thanks
Yes it sure will
Can pressure washer+12v softwash and flo pro be connected all on one battery
I suggest a separate battery for the 12V
Do you put a check valve on the water side so you don’t jeopardize water from entering bleach tank? If so, which one and is it on your site?
No I do not...
Can you control the quantity of the chemical or is fixed
And at what rate?
Can you add an option for a 2 chemical for a 2 step wash ?
Thanks
I do not have an option for 2 step available. The ratio is dependent on how you dilute it as well as how much water the pressure washer would dilute it.
@@PressureCleaningSch
Thanks sir
Great videos by the way!
I'm confused, why do we need this? Isn't a j rod the same thing? U just use a shut off valve switch from soap tip to rinse tip?
Don’t have to go back and forth to truck and can use same nozzle to apply w and rinse and not lose any flow or pressure. It’s not a must have, but sure makes life easier
@@PressureCleaningSch thanx for the info!!!! Makes sense now
When using a downstream injector what percent SH will I get at the nozzle if I'm using 10% solution of SH? Would it be 5% SH?
No. About the best you’ll get is around 1%.
Would you use this with a remote proportioner or would this not be used with a proportioner?
No it is used for downstreaming, not for a dedicated pump. Prevents walking back and forth to the truck to switch from your mix to you rinse water.
hello Doug, If I only wanted the motorized valve how would i go about buying just the valve? thank you doug!
Contact Jud at flow pro. Not sure he sells just the valve.
Thank you sir
Hey Doug do you carry replacement parts for it? I believe my ball valve has failed somehow. It won't draw chem. I replaced the injector and still no draw
I do not. But if contact Jud at Flow Pro he has parts
Mr Doug is this the Shertzbox and Flow Pro system the same ?? Kinda ??
Kind of. With the flow pro though you don’t lose any flow or pressure when rinsing
Hey Doug,
I’m picking up my first new 8GPM machine and am trying to order the Flo-Pro but it’s asking 1/2 or 3/8’s…?
I’m not sure what size to get with the 8GPM..
Thanks for the great content!
I use the 3/8 for my 8GPM. Works great
I get why some flow pro are 1/2 or 3/8, but why do some say with chemical injector bypass? Don't they all have chem injector bypass? From the flow pro site, the ones with the bypass are a $200 option. In easy terms, doesn't the remote just have chem going to nozzle or no chem because it's being bypassed ?
Is there a system to have one remote for multiple chemicals?
I believe there are, 2 steppers use them for cleaning fleet trucks, but I do not sell the,
Why do you disconnect the Flow -pro, as opposed to permanently mounted?
Great question. I disconnect it because I don’t want it bouncing or vibration to it while driving. Not permanently mounted because I did not want any more holes in the truck than absolutely necessary. Were it a flat bed truck or a trailer I’d definitely mount it. When not in use I just disconnect it and lay on the back seat of the truck. I’m so use to it now I don’t even think about it.
@@PressureCleaningSch Thanks Doug
thank you for your video ( question) is this remote system will work to control the ON and OFF water valve on my machine ??? I have a 11GPM 4000 PSI Drain jetter machine if do so please let me know thank you in advance
It switched from water to a chemical tank. In our case bleach. It does but turn the water off
@@PressureCleaningSch i wod like to order one. Is there a phone # ?? Or how can i oreder?
@@mcfrancoable you san order through this link. www.dougruckerstore.com/products/flowpro-remote-bypass-system/
Thankyou for your quick respond. Can you please tell me what size the trade is. 1/4" 3/8. Or 1/2"
@@mcfrancoable 3/8
Can this work with a hot water pressure washer
Yes it sure can. Connect it to the battery of the pressure washer.
Possibly stupid question - why not just put the remote operated valve on the siphon tube? Seems simpler and would eliminate some plumbing. Also would not subject the valve to high pressure. Am I crazy?
If you do that then you can’t bypass the injector. That is the point of this whole thing, to be able to turn your bypass ball valve off, which is turning your soap off, and being able to have full flow for rinse, because rinsing out of the injector will decrease water flow significantly.
How much for flow pro through u
595$
Are you still offering the Schertz Box?
Yes we sure do.
I had three Schertz boxes before I designed the FlowPro and never had any problems whatsoever. I just wanted a little more.
@@JudWest I’m fairly new to this and currently use the Schertz. I guess I’m not sure what the exact difference is maybe a side by side comparison video 🤷♂️.
@@vspd303 the simple answer is the FlowPro bypasses the injector altogether while the Schertz Box and other systems keep the injector in play while rinsing. This really helps in surface cleaning and rinsing.
Depending on how your system is set-up and what injector size you run the flow difference could be substantial. However, other differences include...
- no chemicals run through the FlowPro
- unmatched remote system
- the ball valve used is the most common valve used in the industry and is on just about every vendors shelf. No hard to get parts.
- one year warranty.
@@JudWest thank you for the reply
