@@aor8722 Yeah, I would agree with that. There are very few movies these days that can make going to the theater seem more appealing than watching a movie at home from my couch. Unless there is insane buzz about this when it comes out, I couldn't see myself seeing this in the theater either. Still, it's refreshing to see something different.
I watched this high af and this film was traumatizing. It's 90 minutes of a sasquatch family eating, mating, etc all with no dialogue. What makes it uncomfortable is that the characters are neither human nor animal, but somewhere on the spectrum in between. For example, one of the sasquatchs seems to grunt and point up at the stars, as if to count. They communicate in such a way that we can vaguely understand. Like looking through an ancient mirror. Then after watching you realize, for 99% of the time that we've been a species, this was us. This was our lives, for most of history. We even looked like them at one point. And then you realize how mad the world is. We're just semi-evolved hairless apes, living on a rock flying through space. There is a very thin line between civilization and this. Probably wouldn't have got all that sober, but that's all.
In the words of people who seen this movie early, "this movie depicts all possible bodily functions, so gross most of the theater of people left in the first few mins, calling this movie disgusting and wrong" but the writer says it'll just take the right kind of person to actually watch this, not meant for the normal audience
I remember watching The Social Network in 2010 and thinking Jesse Eisenberg will go far in Hollywood.. and here we are today. He's not gone full Shia LaBeouf yet but he has time.
One of their good friends was the location manager in humboldt for this, and also "coached" the actors on "sasquatch behavior." So I'm sure they are going to watch it.
I get it... Release it the day before 420.. smoke up with some caveman shit n' get down w squatches. 😂. To be fair, I can tell this is going to be my favorite Jessie eisenburg role. Seriously tho I'm going to check it out.
At least camera isnt blurred, fuzzy, or unstable making it hard to see the Sasquatches. This might be the best evidence we've seen yet since the Patterson - Gimlin clip😂
Apparently people are walking out of the theaters. That either means it's really good or really bad. Doubt there is going to be an in-between with this one
FINALLY, someone finally was able to get actual QUALITY FOOTAGE, instead of the that fuzzy flip phone camera crap, filmed by someone who shakes so much they probably couldn't even hold a steady conversation let alone the Sprint PCS camera phone he uses, just sayin...🤷🏻♂️
HONEST REVIEW: the largest mistake was that it was neither a good drama OR a good comedy. It would have TOTALLY worked had it been in the same vein as Pineapple Express OR Dancing with wolves etc.. The other PROBLEM, was that even though the elders appeared to be well into their forties, they seemed to be experiencing nature for the first time - which didn’t make sense being that they made a bold and fair attempt at (a slice of, a day in the life of a Sasquatch). It wasn’t a bad idea …. There was just no point given to such a unique vantage point.
This movie was hilarious. People who judge it poorly are NOT cool people. Only the best of souls will enjoy this shit. I’ve never laughed so hard in a theater

@Outsquatchin No, Idk I'm just saying I've heard of people describing this color, so it's not a wrong color. I'm actually about to see the movie right now.
@@westernbigfootexploration I know it’s the case with the older ones that they get that color of fur but the younger ones have color like red or orange. Up here in Washington state they’re much more black colored very dark. I saw the top of one 12 or 15 years ago out in the middle of nowhere between Mount Adams and Mount Saint Helensvery greasy long black hair
the idea that some city kid thinks there's still "untouched wilderness" tells you right away that whoever made this movie has no real idea what nature is like and just wanted an excuse to let all their wild raw fantasies and fetishes be made to life.
People might slag this, but you gotta keep in mind, there is an audience for this.
