  • Exodus first debuted on November 25, 2022 on DailyWire+. Its contents were so impactful and widely needed that the DW+ executive team and Dr. Peterson decided to make the series available for free on CZcams for a limited time. The series has since been returned to its permanent home on the DailyWire+ platform. You can view episode 1 for free on CZcams. The remainder of the series can be viewed exclusively on DailyWire+. Thank you for joining us as we journey through the Great Book of Exodus.
In episode one, Jordan and his roundtable explore the themes of freedom against tyranny, God’s allowance of evil, and faith as an adventure within the first three chapters of Exodus. They seek to answer the question of whether one should take the easy path even if it is wrong or do what is right despite it being hard.
Thank you very much to all the participants: Dr. Os Guiness, Dr. Douglas Hedley, Dr. James Orr, Dr. Larry Arnn, Gregg Hurwitz, Ben Shapiro, Dr. Dennis Prager, Dr. Stephen Blackwood, Jonathan Pageau, and Dr. Jordan B. Peterson.
And thank you very much to the DailyWire+ crew for having the vision and generosity of spirit to make this Exodus seminar freely available to all who are interested. Perhaps you might consider a DailyWire+ subscription; it's a bastion of free speech. We have great content there with much more to come. Click here to learn more: bit.ly/3Q0lXj7

Today, when I hear your work on Exodus, I'm a believer, I study theology at the university with the aim of becoming a priest, I'm married, I go to church, I have a child that I love deeply; I try, and at moments I'm even able to try as hard as I'm able to.

Atheists are individuals that are mad at the world and choose to not believe in God because of the evil and darkness that pervades reality - they hate themselves in the midst of it. It’s an emotional argument. I hope time has made you realize it.

Colossians 2:8 warns against being spoiled by philosophy and vain deceit, following human tradition and the rudiments of the world, and not following Christ.123 The word "philosophy" means "love of wisdom," and every philosophy is essentially a humanistic devotion to man's wisdom for its own sake.0 However, such wisdom is false wisdom and derives in type from "the tree of knowledge," through the "vain deceit" of Satan, who tries to persuade us that partaking of it would "make one wise" and that "your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods."

I can't stress this enough. We have a group of experts in various fields, who 1) chose a morally, historically, and philosophically epochal topic, 2) voluntarily came together with the honest intention of discovering as much knowledge from it as possible in an uncensored form with no narrative other than to understand the truth for what it really is, and 3) made it publically available with no paywall or barriers. This is the definition of "symposium." This is the very activity that, beginning with the ancient Greeks, has been continuously stated as the highest form of good and intrinsically valuable thing mankind is capable of. The fact that this video exists for free makes my eyes water a little bit. Add to it that, as now, it has over 2 million views, meaning that millions of people value the same thing in this as I do. Hats off to everyone who made this happen. If the world ever tries to take this activity from us in our lifetime, you will have my sword without hesitation.

Tim from his knowledge of the Etymology of Hebrew ,Greek and Aramaic words which brings passages to life in nuanced ways we don't always perceive, and his calm kind, egoless demeanor. And the good Bishop because he is an extremely intelligent man and philosopher at heart, also a big Bob Dylan fan 😂 who is very well versed amd knowlegable of the best and greatest historical theologians. I recently accepted Jesus as my savior. Over 35 years of being an atheist and pretty much and antitheist and I've started truly to dive into the Bible. I'm only up to Numbers and I must say, this chat has truly given meaning in a way I could have never achieved. Great job! And thanks for sharing this via here.
    My official testimony at baptism.
My name is Lola. Standing before you and God, it took me a very long time to acknowledge that His existence was even real. I have been let down by those who called themselves Christians in ways that made me reject Him. I've seen the ugliest parts of humanity firsthand, sometimes visited upon me. I spent many years hating God for what others did in his name.
Over the last few years, I've overcome substance abuse, gotten closer to my family, and I've seen that God has held me in his arms for so long when I didn't even know it. This church has welcomed me when I didn't deserve it, and now I'd like to humble myself before all and accept the forgiveness offered by Christ at the cross, and publicly affirm my commitment to God.

@johnwool it took me so long. Both my husband and I got baptized. I have gone through a rough life and a lot of those whom called themselves Christians hurt me in many ways that would make anyone go, "God is not real." But I was mistaken, they were working with the devil. My last suicide attempt in 2020 had me going to the most amazing therapist who is a former marine and kept speaking about God. I argued with this man every week for 3 years! But he, God, was persistent and worked through my therapist.
I love what Jesus has done to my heart and little by little things are making sense.

The Jews hold Mosses in very high esteem, even though they rejected and rebelled against Christ. Question perhaps, would you say since Mosses was a torch bearer, and led them from the evil tyranny in Egypt, would you say he accomplished more than Jesus? He literally saved all of them from the evil tyrants under Pharaoh.

I am very thankful that this is free to the public. The most interesting bible study I’ve ever been able to observe. Raised in Louisiana as a southern Baptist to losing faith to regaining faith and battling demons and addiction and depression and all around badness, finding Dr Peterson last year as an inspiration. I cleaned my room but find myself in need of constant motivation to clean my room. A breakthrough occurred to me a few months back. Where in an instant I believed in heaven and hell I was overwhelmed. Now to see that a man who indirectly led me to that moment is now studying the Bible is truly beautiful. I’m going to start reading my bible again. I’ve wanted to for a long time but I’ve been afraid. I had a horrendous nightmare that truly paranoid and terrified me for years the last time I started reading it. I was attacked by a demon and part of me feels that it wasn’t just a dream. I’ve been living alone for almost a year now and I’m afraid to read it here alone. I know it was a nightmare but I don’t want to see it again and part of me is afraid to have nightmare and wake up to it being reality with no one around me, just me facing a nightmare all alone. It’s real enough to me to make me afraid. I’ve prayed every night since then and only in the past few months believe that some of my prayers are answered, but I’m still afraid that my prayers to god to protect me when I read the Bible will be herd by something else that wants me.

@naikhanomtom7552 Yeah, I've watched tons of Dyer. I'm investigating Orthodoxy. But I don't think Essence/Energies Distinction is ultimately tenable or reconcilable with an immutable God. The idea that God's Energies can be uncreated but have a beginning doesn't seem coherent. The idea that God's Energies are also His essence makes more sense to me. Dyer's objections haven't convinced me yet but he is extremely intelligent, extremely well educated and a very impressive man overall. I understand his objections with the modern Catholic hierarchy and papacy as well, as a traditional catholic I can agree with a lot of what he says. But thus far, bad popes and corrupt hierarchies have never contradicted church teachings and have always been corrected with time. I would also respectfully recommend that you look into some Catholic objections of Palamism and Orthodox ecclesiology. Overall I think we're separated brethren in Christ. But, in order to reunite, Palamism and other errors will have to be reconciled with Catholic theology. God bless, brother. ✝️

John 3:16. Jesus died for the sins of the world. Believe and receive salvation. Salvation is a gift and not of works.

The Bible is from the Jews. Exodus is a Jewish book, not a Christian one. Please don't forget this and try to supercede Judaism with Christian theology.

we are all Israelites. we all wrestle with God through our faith will we find salvation through the Son. just because this was by the Jewish people does not mean it is not Christian. they are the same evolving or advancing one phase at a time gaining closer to God.

What I love about the discussions is that everyone is coming from a different perspective, but yet everyone is committed to respecting and listening to each other, and is ultimately on their journey to discover truth.

When He (Christ), who the OT people where purposed for, finally came into the world, the OT people denied, betrayed, abused and killed Him.
They committed the greatest sin that man has ever committed (Theocide).
Having broken Covenant with Divine purpose, hear what Christ said to the Jews
      Matt 23:38
"See, your house is left to you desolate"
Those who killed to Son, do not have the Father !
      JOHN 15:23
23Whoever hates Me hates My Father as well. 24If I had not done among them the works that no one else did, they would not be guilty of sin; but now they have seen and hated both Me and My Father.
