A spokesman for us all? I doubt it. Why not demonstrate where the politicians reside. There's no doubt that there's a very real climate emergency that time has already virtually run out to address properly - but no nation or people in the world will leap into action just because a group of radicals blocked a road and annoyed or inconvenienced thousands of irate people. That kind of action only further alienates people, and damages the very cause they're trying to promote. They're also choosing to potentially cause catastrophic consequences for at least one person in the thousands of people their actions affect - they've no right to make that call, no matter how dire or pressing or even right the cause that they're backing may be.

Idea - Insulate Britain could as a great show piece is descend on a typical example of “Social Housing” and FULLY upgrade the insulation to the absolute maximum standard, present the costing’s via proof of purchase invoices, show clearly the number of hours involved and manpower, prove just how “easy” it would be, and approx per unit costing’s - then they could use this too embarrass the Government into action, unless of course IB have - a) no idea of what insulation/heating upgrade would be required; OR b) no understanding if the cost/benefit did not add up.
Just an idea for Mr Hallam and acolytes to mull over - perhaps the idea of working on a solution rather than lying around may not appeal.
