Stephanie Jaworski of Joyofbaking.com demonstrates how to make Chocolate Energy Bars. I think these Chocolate Energy Bars look so cool with their shiny chocolate glaze and how you can see the visible flecks of nuts in the chocolate colored bars. They have lots of sweet flavor and are nice and chewy. What's amazing is how they contain just three main ingredients; peanuts, dates, and chocolate. An easy no-bake recipe. They will satisfy any craving so have them for a quick "to-go" breakfast, pack one in your lunchbox, or they would be perfect to take along on your next picnic or hike. The added bonus is that they will keep for several weeks when stored in the refrigerator and they can be frozen.

I made these bars yesterday, they are totally fantastic!!, makes me wonder why I have ever bought a chocolate bar since these are much more delicious and that with no sugar or preservatives or any industry chemicals, healthier, cheaper and they are so easy to make!!. I used a blender instead of a processor, it´s very simple because the batter is pretty compact and you don´t have to be scraping to take all the batter. I didn´t use chocolate chips and I also omited the vanilla extract. I admit I didn´t expect that amazing flavor with no sugar added. Next time I´ll try with dried plums since where I live they´re locally made and more affordable. Thanks for the recipe!
You are so sweet, Stephanie, and even funny at times! I love watching your videos, thank you so much for posting such great and dependable recipes- I've had great results with the ones I've tried!
I like the very end of the video where you show us something in your life. Either outside somewhere with Baxter. It was kinda cool to see your "behind the scenes" area. Clearly you and your husband put a lot of time and effort into your videos and it shows,
I will make this for my hubby to take when he mountain bike. Thank you! I love your way of demonstrating those yummy recipes. I am over the moon with your banana bread and muffin recipes!
Hi Stephanie, I tried this today and it was amazing and delicious. Please we need more of these energy bars. Thank you
Every time you came with another video, you make me happy ms. Stephany. Thanks!!
More than amazing... I don't even remember how many times I have made this recipe...My hubby and kids love them and I always double the dose hahaha
I added unsweetened coconut flakes and it tasted amazing! Thank you for this recipe!
show me
Same Delicious😋
I do the same
I am so excited!
I read the description of these this afternoon, before watching the video. I told myself to pay attention because I should have all the necessary ingredients. So, after supper, I made these energy bars while watching this video several times, plus some other bar videos. I will probably make the cream cheese brownies and oatmeal lemon bars this weekend. I will give some in gift boxes, and freeze the rest for myself.
It's time to go cut them! I am so excited to try a small bite tonight. Then another bite in the morning with coffee. I made a double batch with the layer of chocolate on top and used pecans. If I knew how to make a coconut nougat layer, before the chocolate, I definitely would have done that, but I'll find a recipe.
Thanks for sharing this recipe that I'm sure I will have fun changing often.
Wow! Just tasted one and it is so delicious. It's a thrill to know I can make my very own chocolate bars, with good chocolate, as often as I wish because this recipe is very easy and healthy. With only ingredients I want and no unnecessary chemicals.
These are fantastic! Thank you. I always enjoy your videos.
Stephanie, I tried these bars and they came out excellent. Thanks.
Hi Stephanie! I've been a fan of your channel for a long time. You're the best CZcams baking channel I have found as you take the time to really explain the process without any gimmicks. Love your channel all that way from South Africa
My family loved it so much 🥰✨ God bless you 😇 for sharing these healthy recipes 🙏🍀
In my country we just mix date, any type of nut (including pine nut) and tahini. It is easy and healthy. Some people think that tahini is used only in savoury. in fact it is wildly used in sweet recipes.
Zaina Hh thanks for the tip i was thinking of using tahini in energy balls or bars instead of peanut butter just to change and im going to do it
Hi wat is tahini not familiar with the name
@@lauraferguson6022 it's sesame paste
That sounds delicious. Do you have a recipie?
I have that will try it

I like the way ur very neat and tidy with very detailed demonstration, I really love ur channel, ur the best !!
can't wait to try them out. you look so happy making them.
I roasted almonds, cashews, peanuts, walnuts, pistachios, white sesame seeds, oats. Ground and blended everything along with the pitted dates, lil salt, coconut powder, cinnamon powder, lil honey (optional). Transferred everything onto a baking tray, placed in the freezer for 20 mins then added melted dark chocolate and froze for 20 mins.
If u don't want to roast the nuts in the beginning. Then grind and blend all the ingredients and bake at 180°C for 25-30 mins. After it cools add the melted chocolate and freeze it.
I love you so much omg! You really remind me of my ESL teacher when I first came to Canada 10 years ago☺️🙏🏼

I made something similiar using almonds and no chocolate. I used to then dehydrated them but that ended up not making a difference and wasted electricity. Your recipe includes chocolate so that makes them 100 x better. Thank you for all your videos.
