Crazy how even after nearly 16 years Peppy is still actively making new uptades and keeping in touch with the community

and not only that but he implements things in lazer as if he has never worked in the game before, I don't know what he does to find motivation and keep implementing bunch of stuff every single update

The Osu!mania in mobile is pretty hard without keyboard since you can only tap the circles, but i wish they will add hitbox that divides depend to the beatmap whether it will be 4 or above
Yeah! It's so hard even on tablets to hit these lines, wish we have nice hitboxes
maybe there could even be sideways scrolling with wider note files kinda like piano tiles to make mania more playable on smaller mobiles

I love these updates! The irl style of this video was a nice touch. It's so cool how active peppy is in updating and responding to feedback on Lazer. It's amazing to see how it progresses.
the mapping updates are so huge, love following along - hoping my return to mapping will be with lazer
two things I would like to adress about lazer:
1. The new hold for rightclick feature is still active during gameplay and therefore really distracting, I don't think this is intended so this probably needs a fix
2. Visually the Spinner is not keeping up with the cursor and seems to spin at a slower speed. I don't know whether this is intended or not, but it looks very unsatisfying in my opinion so I would prefer a change to how it spins in standard
I think Lazer looks great overall and I really like the regular updates on the game. Keep up the good work!

This is an awesome update for touch input users with the long press for right click. However, one thing I miss in stable is to sort by ranks achieved or categorize by ranks achieved on maps. Probably difficult to implement in lazer though.

Please add some customisation for Wind Up and Wind Down mods so we can choose AR, OD and HP so not scale with the speed increasing/decreasing

I do like lazer. It's usable and sometimes I switch to it, my biggest problem is I have no idea how map sorting works now but in stable it is really easy to understand. Like when I try to sort by lets say length it just seems to do nothing.

Just started lazer after like 3 months becasue of the cursor ripples. I am happy with those but either my pc or lazer is weird, because i got worse performance in song select than before. Using an HP Pavilion Desktop - TP01-0601n modified with 16GB 3000Mhz Ram and an 4TB HDD, osu lazer is still installed on the HDD.

I hope the memory issue will work once I switch back to DirectX on my laptop which caused the whole system to crash when scrolling through maps. Also, the fullscreen mode locks my monitor to 60hz even though my maximum refresh rate in the Windows and Linux clearly says 75Hz. I don't think it's because of the NVIDIA graphics configs.

OSU!LAZER MANIA ON MOBILE IS LITERALLY IMPOSSIBLE . WE MUST TOUCH THE SUPER SMALL NOTES , YOU SHOULD CHANGE THE CONTROL BIGGER FOR MOBILE PLAYERS .

is it just more or does anyone have issues with mania LN’s not showing on certain skins? it will only show a single note rather than the LN. only on some skins though
One thing I really dont like in lazer is in song select where each song is a folder and when you click it it opens and shows all difficulties, thats cool and all but why is it like that also when there is only ONE difficulty. I dont like this because when i sort by difficulty in the old version I can see my grades on all the songs, but in lazer I only see the title and only when I click on the song it opens up and i can see the grade. Would be awesome if you could toggle that or semething.

Bold of you to compare osu! to games that are made with both mobile and desktop in mind to start with (osu! is built primarily for desktop users, even though there has been significant progress in adding mobile-friendly features).
Not to mention both games you mentioned were from that same developer... but I'm OK with that. Not like BTMC doesn't play HSR or anything.
Anyways, I believe that day will come, and hopefully soon enough.

I argue that osu lazer is made for all platforms in mind from the start like genshin, it is just peppy clearly focused on desktop experience first.

There should be mod where you can use Health Drain as Mod Select. (The more you increase the slider, the more you health you lose per second.)

Something to fix: when using daycore or halftime on osu!mania if the speed is set to 0.5x on the majority of beatmaps the scroll speed is too slow to play, even on 40, since it only scales with bpm.
Makes it hard impossible to use halftime or daycore
game devs have a LOT to learn from peppy
I have another thing to suggest
Osu lazer’s ui is too small on my phone, even at the maximum setting text is too small, like unbelievably small. My phone has a longer screen than usual and that’s why it isn’t working.
Can you add a higher maximum up size for people who’s phones this?
