I think it would be really cool if there was a translator built into the chat, allowing people from different parts of the world who speak languages like Japanese, Chinese, Russian and others to communicate more easily. This would create an even more communicative community where everyone could interact, regardless of the language they speak.
This would create a big influx of "lost in translation" issues though. It would be nice to have it as an option, but not having it at all is not worrysome. Having one that's always applied would definitely be not useful, as many words of the languages you listed have no direct meaning to, say, English. Or they use less words to express more meaning, which leads to issues.
Great to see so many new things and changes in this update! I especially like the addition of kiai flashes, they really make the main menu look more alive. Now I can't wait for menu snow. ;)

For mobile especially latency should be divided in audio (for Bluetooth) and input (touch screens have at best 50ms of latency and this would also benefit wireless keyboards). Some good examples of this implementation are sonolus and cytoid. This would massively improve the mobile experience and help some lowend computers with taiko/mania
anything with audio latency is not playing hitsounds. hitsounds are central to osu! gameplay and therefore we don't offer an audio latency setting. please plug headphones in when playing for the best experience.

What about the lazer's framework still ignoring any custom monitor refresh rates? It really sucks to play on 60hz instead of 75 without going borderless and having a really huge latency.

i wish lazer actually ran well on my pc bc it just seems better overall but even after previous updates changing performance it's still unplayable :/ my pc is probably just too bad sadly
the lowest latency i get is 4.2ms and i can't get anything over 30fps... insane diffs for example are completely unplayable :') edit: weirdly enough, i switched from the argon skin to a random skin i imported and my fps doubled. still have latency and it still runs noticeably worse than stable, but i guess it's kinda playable? another quick update, my fps goes back to 30 when i try using ez. rip
for the beatmap thumbnails on discord thing, what if the beatmap you are playing has a nsfw bg (which A LOT of them have anime girls with bikini or smthing like that), is there a way to turn it off lol
Also try fix the mobile osu mania bug where the notes can only be click on the small columns then having 4 big button or 6 button (if tablet/IPad) so it's much easier to play mania in mobile, Hope peppy sees my comment and fixes it😊
I love these videos, but i get a big lag spike at the start of every map that causes me to fail 3/4 of the time. i'm on a macbook running windows (macos doesn't work :sad:), pls fix!
