15- The Arturia MiniFreak- Oscillators: Audio In

- Here is a demonstration of the sound and functionality of the "Audio In" oscillator style found on the Arturia MiniFreak.
The theme was created out of presets and crafted patches over an assemblage of fragments of GarageBand loops. For all intents and purposes, it is a MiniFreak-Only composition.

There's a gain function for the audio in the utility menu.
I was trying to figure this out the other day to hopefully jam with my opz as a drum machine but couldn’t figure out the low volume issue. Thank you, super helpful cause this synth is badass!
Hi i dont know why but i dont have this option in my Arturia Minifreak the last one is HARM.Can you help me with this ?
I believe Arturia has a full sized Freak at some stage of prototype today. It could be 3 micro "engines" (3 osc) or 2 mini "engines" (4 osc) - hopefully the latter to include bi-timbrality with dedicated outs/layer. Since the freak "series" responds to poly AT (the micro can send it) they hopefully will include at LEAST a 4 octave poly AT keybed and price it near Hydrasynth if possible. (Maybe the budget allows for some UI upgrades - physical matrix buttons as on matrixbrute/polybrute? Freely assignable FM mod/source among all oscillators would be quite the bonus as well...) In any case availability is at least as much a marketing as technical/development decision with minifreak being so new.
Some folks in England and Europe call a mixer a "foldback" from another term for mixing; to "fold in" I guess
another fine quality! for the detail and informations you are great personal sacrifice of time (a monumental resource)? for all synths fans and to me as personal. very appreciate. why to MIDI parafonic all notes. also the rhythms of old organ funmaker to audio insert be entertain and neat. for likes.
I'd like tooo know what synth's, analog & digital actually have AUDIO IN for this purpose & for utilizing it tooo put external stuff thru the onboard efx processors of those certain kits that have'm¡(maybe compile a list¿) once again & one more time; udahman, Udahbest Doty urguru thanx again dude
Korg MS-10, any modular rack, and orher synths that use patch cables. I think the Critter and Guitari Organelle can process audio input as well.
