14- The Arturia MiniFreak- Oscillators: Harm

- Here is a demonstration of the sound and functionality of the Noise Engineering "Harm" oscillator found on the Arturia MiniFreak.
The theme was created out of presets and crafted patches over an assemblage of fragments of GarageBand loops. For all intents and purposes, it is a MiniFreak-Only composition.

Love my minifreak.
Any microfreak users who are used to reaching to the far left orange knob for wave may want to consider switching the digital effects "Type" knob with the oscillators "Type" knob. Kept changing the osc type accidentally until i did this. Was doing the same thing with the effects section, so two birds👍
any tips for doing that safely?
@@wcostello5 I have ceramic pliers which I gently wedged under the knobs, but if you have a keycap puller for a mechanical keyboard that would work fine too(either option can be had for less than $5 online)

1:39 oh that's nice... it would be even nicer if that functionality was available with the other oscillators too. Hopefully you can dial it in usefully (the different available harmonic timbres when you turn the knob).
Octave and 5th are the most useful relationships, followed by major 3rd, minor 3rd... depends on what you're playing. You gave a weird example... it's usually weird anyway. Cool synth.
