- 300 SRT 6.1L v8 Hemi with mufflers & resonators deleted! This Chrysler 300 SRT8 has K&N intake along with upgraded rims & tires. The exhaust on this 6.1L v8 SRT8 is what really makes it a beast though! The exhaust is loud but sounds great. If you're looking for a review or test drive on the 300 SRT this isn't it but it does show off the exhaust note along with highway flybys and pulls!

I really LOVE THE 300, its a cool car a very comparable if not a tad bit nicer than the charger in terms of a sedan much more luxury. plus you can get it with a 5.7 hemi, pretty solid... that old 6.1 sounds so similar to the 5.7 hemi. just to think dodge downed the 5.7 cause of the 6.1 hemi then upped the power after it was gone.
That 6.1 can haul ass - def shows those SRT's can move! These Hemi's no matter which one is badass!
Your love for the 300 and Hemis is great because the old 50s 300 series had the "original " Hemi in them. It was not the real original production (or aftermarket) Hemi-headed car but I believe first American entry. 331 C.I.D Firepower V-8 Powerflite 2 spd auto in a C-300.
Gotta love those 1st Gen 300 SRT8s with the 6.1s! Still love them. Mob ass cars! I remember seeing them when they came out in 05’. I couldn’t get over em’. Solid ass cars!

@@moparfam300c I've loved the modern 300's since they were an LH-based prototype in the early 90's. Not the 300M I mean it looked like an 05 or 06 but a modified rwd LH with different layout in the headlight housing.

Mine is a 2007 300 srt8 300 kn intake, mid muffler delete, Diablo tune and halo on headlights. I think the first gen 300 srt8 is one of the best design cars ever. That’s just the opinion of a very biased owner

I traded my 06 300 for my 2012 SRT8 and sometimes I regret it. I should have kept both. Love these damn cars. Oh nice ride by the way bro.

The 6.1 is durable without all the vvt and variable displacement crap. That would be my first choice over the 6.4. With a gear swap and cam upgrade with tune you have a totally different animal!

Peep18m I have a 6.1 challenger that’s putting in some work straight pipes catless Jay Green Racing tune. I have some vids on my channel go check them out. The 6.1 is beating 6.4 ‘s with simple bolt ons. I just added the advanced fuel dynamics e85 kit. I’ll post some runs soon with the car on full E-85 made a good 15-20 whp gain.

The 1st gen 300 SRT are cheap though...well around here they are. Less than 16K. 😎
1 gen srt8 could Range up from 12.5k-20+ depending conditions and mileage but go for it trust me all that extra money is worth it sold my charger RT and got 2010 wk1 srt8 no complaints and never looking back
for 2-3000usd you can modify intake exhaust and put 6.1 camshaft indo 5.7 and +5-6000usd supercharger -100-130hp, in less than 10kusd , more power than srt6.1

That would have been interesting. I didn't have big blue though, this was a meet that I knew was almost over. Didn't think anything would come of it so I casually cruised in with the SS.
A 6.1 with those mods would lose to his RT the 6.1 would need a better intake cat delete a tune TB and then itd be good idk tho cause my friends 6.1 is probably low 3800 or high 3700lbs now so he destroys everything we still wanna run a c7 and scatpacks but they dont pull up on him or my 5.0

All the 6.1 SRT8's are badass, although after owning the Charger, 300 & the Jeep, as well as driving my bros Challenger, the Jeep SRT8 really sets itself apart from the other SRT8's..Its definitely the quickest out of all the other SRT8'S

Also for having fun and making a more affordable street car for modding that won't eat you alive in gas or insurance cost you can't beat a well reasonably modded 5.7 car! Really that would be my first choice!

To me the 300s always had a nicer interior compared to the charger. I love the center mounted clock, it screams class!the 300 SRT and the Magnum SRT of that error look way better than the charger.

I Love the Look of the Chrysler 300! It's soo cool, so elegant & agressive at once. But i'm Not a fan of "22s at the Mopar LX LD Platform Cars. I think the proportions are the Importand when coosing rims. And for the size of these cars i think you should not go over 21".
But what is even so nice it is to use 9.5, 10, 10.5 or 11" wide rims and then choose tires with a light stretched look.

I have a 2012 300 srt8 with 6.4. I hate that they discontinued the 300 srt and never even made a hellcat version. Chrysler did a poor job advertising the 300 srt 392 smh
I agree with you 100%. The SRT trim was awesome in the 300 - just needed more exposer. A hellcat version would have create a lot of buzz for the brand.

I was going to murder out my window frames but I think as the only chrome it looks more menacing. I got a carbon fibre srt grill going on ASAP. 22inch with coilovers and let's not forget the 2x 15,000wt subs, dual amps and bit ten HD computer

Matt Kuipers hp don’t mean shit there are a bunch of other factors like weight that mf is extremely heavy I have admin intakes and a tune , gearing makes a difference too 🤷🏽♂️ and the person behind the wheel also makes a difference.
