I've offered to run the Bunker myself for half the wage the current muppets get for doing it.....but I have a better idea - give everyone at home one of those "who wants to be a millionaire" keypads, and when something goes to the bunker, we all press a button, and whichever option has the majority of the vote is the final decision.. I would have to recommend that you can only vote in games of which your favourite team isn't playing though....just in the interest of fairness.

Yrs and yrs on and we're still on this topic of the bunker. Let it go Gus and evolve with the game. I actually don't mind that it may take a bit more time, atleast the call will be corrected.
That's a great outlook to have.....except they still get it wrong, ever since the introduction of the original video ref (I believe the very first call was wrong....should have shut it down right there and then)
@@loxxovvoxxol2896 that may be so, but the vid ref has gotten more right than wrong, so it has been very effective, the numbers say so. U gotta expect some error's in life, and even they'll get some wrong, but the positive outweighs the negative and has been technology that has proven itself effective.
@@DoggyZworlD07 I'm happy to disagree. It will never be like it was....but you can't even celebrate a try anymore, as they'll award it - but, you know, they might still take it away. I might be in the minority on this (I doubt it, but possible), but I'd much rather have the referees actually make a decision, and if it's wrong, so be it, we move on - the dud calls always even up over the course of a season....and despite there being a video ref/bunker/74 cameras, there are still dud calls for every team, every game.....and I don't think anyone would disagree with that.
@@loxxovvoxxol2896 you're entitled to disagree, but the numbers would prove u wrong tho. There's more correct calls than dud ones man. And all it costs is just a lil patience cos yea nowadays u can really celebrate a try straight away but I for one am ok with that as long as we get the right call and the right points go up on the board. The downside is that unfortunately this is human run and humans make mistakes, so there will be dud calls, and hell I've been on that side watching my team catch a dud call, it's going to happen, even if u take the bunker away, refs will occasionally give a dud call, but with the bunker there's few of them made, and more honest calls happen.
Step 1 - Stop the game for bunker to review and get correct result.
Step 2 - Bunker reviews, gets the wrong result.
Step 3 - Dont use the bunker
Step 4 - Incorrect calls by ref due to no bunker back up.
Step 5 - Bring back the bunker.
Step 6 - Go back to step 1 and repeat.
Need to change it back to "video ref" .

No they don't fight every weekend, but they do train every day, and in that training session is sparring with fellow fighters, and while they use head gear in sparring, they're still copping hits to the head, the protection only protects them from cuts, the punch is still felt, and head is still being knocked, soooo there's that bit u forgot abt boxers lol.
Nrl players are far more protected than in the QCup and junior footy 😂
Free to air tv is dead. Everytime a genuine moment or conversation happens, we have to cut it off for ads that i mute...whilst im ranting, the sunday footy show is now officially dead slso! One hour of ads and basic coverage.
