what do you do if the loans aren't being successfully paid back. What if, as a result, a large part of the population is stuck in repayment limbo because the institution and themselves did not make them automsatically successful. What if you actually implemented this plan (which this guy did not actually outline because he is a non-talking piece of political shit (Both sides guilty)) and it freed all of those people and actually unlocked them and they become more productive. In theory it works but thats a 750 billion dollar theory, kind of cheap based off the ludicrous spending these few admins have done, huge trump dax deductions expire 2025 americans. Next year is gonna fuckingg hurt. I hope someone reads this

However, even if my understanding on that IS wrong, these Department Secretaries, in my opinion, be required to answer any questions they are asked, or , at the very least, be fired immediately. If all that’s going to happen is a scolding, “Shame on you” for flouting the law, the will of the people, and ignoring the Supreme Court, what a waste of time! How about suing the administration or filing an injunction against it?? Something that actually holds them accountable and provides consequences!!

It’s pretty simple. You borrow money as a loan. You pay back that loan yourself. I went to university. Worked a full time job at the same time at night. I did have time to protest. To go to my university’s football games. Participate in any school activities aside from going to class. At most, I had 2-3 hours of sleep a day. Took seasonal jobs in the summer to save up for next semester’s tuition, books, supplies, etc. Graduated with ZERO student debt. But aged far faster than those who took up loans. Eventually those same people complained that their art history degree got them zero employment. Their niche social studies degrees got them hired to work at the local coffeee shop. Music theory didn’t help them pay off they of their debt. Parties so much that they graduated at the bottom of the class and affected who hired them. Or more precisely why they weren’t hired.

They are complaining he is violating federal statutes. Giving evidence that he is violating federal statutes.
Instead of having him removed from his duties (which they have a right to ask for), they are instead just going to let him continue to do what he wants to do.

I own a business. I collect state federal and local taxes and pay a CPA so I don’t get fined. In fact I match SSN & Medicare, by law, for my employees.
Without businesses collecting taxes and paying employees former students would have jobs unless they started a business.
If I had a loan on by business no bank has reduced my loan amount. I would still have to pay it back.
The Covid relief was based on how many employees I had, not for paying down their debt.

I dont understand why these are hard concepts for people to grasp. I went into college knowing I was going to have student loans and that I would be paying them back. I am on a income based plan as most not all but most coming out of college are not going to be making huge salariers. You take out any loan you're responbile to pay. Also, people with there loans being forgiven dont understand that they will also pay more in taxes in the long run. Nothing is free.
