My wife and I were on vacation in Paris about ten years ago. We had a corner room on the upper floor of the Hotel Regina Louvre across from the Louvre Museum. We had decided to stay in one evening, so I went to a local shop and bought cheese, cold cuts, bread and some wine. We moved a tiny table out on the balcony to enjoy the food and the incredible view down the Rue De Rivoli. There was a radio in the room. I turned it on, and it was apparently tuned to a classic station. The first song that came on was this song by Edith Piaf. We realized it was a magical moment for us both, and something we will never forget. Thanks to Edith Piaf and Paris.
I started crying before she started singing.. when i saw her walking out on the scene all fragile but with a strong desire to sing her last words that described her life it just broke me.. but i enjoyed it completely i wish she didn't suffer as much. The greatest is from Ellen Burstyn in Requiem for a Dream, but this is the second one

Why ever would I want
To relive the bygones

Though I’ve never been loved
Never ever at all
Time to start life anew
Nothing at all
