  • Frame is painted! Starting to actually look like a Trailer!

    Besides the weight, I still think diamond plate is the way to go. The paint looks really good! I thought you have made wheel wells before for another trailer, guess you just reused old ones though.

      I probably will end up going with Diamond plate, but need to figure out how big/heavy to go. There are other options besides 200lb 1/4in diamond plate lol. I have not made wheel wells. Once in the past I was planning to, but then realized they aren't that expensive to buy and building seems tough. Thank you for your comment!

    what kinda paint did you go with? Looks like you have plenty of ground clearance with out flipping the axle. Looking good!

      I used Rust oleum Professional Grey Primer, let it cure a while, then went over it with Professional Gloss Black. I normally like to use hammered black on top of that, but in this case, the trailer frame itself probably won't be noticed - the box on top will, so I skilled the hammered coat.
