  • My review of the Aorus Waterforce 240. This is Gigabytes Non X version of their 240mm All-in-One Water Cooler. They fixed some things and took others away. So, is it worth it?

I know this video is one year old, but I got to throw this in. I got is as a really good deal for 80€ and seeing your tests go he’s me a good feeling about my purchase. It might not be the best but it’s a good one. Thanks for your good and honest review!

Thanks, the one I found was much cheaper so this is surely a good buy.

$100 premium for 0.4 degrees, definitely worth it 👌 🤣

They need to charge that much to cover the cost of refunds on their PSUs...

This was looking real good till you showed the price. I have a gigabyte motherboard and GPU but I still wouldn't pay that much for this.

I have a waterforce x 240. The liquid status shows zero degrees. The other information is displayed correctly, but the liquid status information is zero. The processor is a Ryzen 9 5900x. Does anyone know any solution for this? already installed and reinstalled the newer versions of RGB fusion and Aorus Engine, and nothing.

I had the same problem so I requested a replacement from Amazon and the new works fine.

Does it not come with thermal compound pre applied?

Did you ever figure this out? I'm currently having this issue. I bought mine pre built from NZXT and I didn't get the extended warranty. Ooof.

I only wish asus made more hardware. Their software, even tho bulky, it's ages ahead of anything else.

I like your videos but I will never understand rgb anything in a desktop. I want mine black opaque and silent out of view. Weird trend!

There have always been trends in gaming PC'S dating back to the advent of the LAN Party. Gamers wanted their rigs to stand out and represent their personalities. I should do a video on the evolution of the gaming PC from the beige box to the current TG and RGB builds.

@@ElevatedSystems I'd watch it! Makes sense wanting to personalize. Thankfully I don't have to own one myself 😋 also I'm not a gamer.
Are you a gamer? What do you play?

@@ElevatedSystems A part of me wants to build a retro beige box. Then the nostalgia filter fades and I remember how awful they looked (not to mention the lousy ventilation).

As someone who has been building systems since my first 386dx-40 and having covered cases. I guess we are all different. One system I built was all clear acrylic, I designed it Dr. Who style, with various little toys inside and lighting. I spent a good 20+ years with PCs and little color. I like a change. Current system only the ram lights up and only orange. They have come a long way. But you are always free to buy a case you can't see any component and not run any lights. But that doesn't sound too enjoyable.
