1. The 2min rule:
Do immediately any task that takes less than 2min to do.
2. Get up & move:
Stretch your muscles for 1min every 90min during the day or take a 2min walk
3. Give yourself deadlines:
This will give you ‘goals’ and help you value your time. Daily, monthly and yearly ones.
4. Read more:
Read 10 pages a day as an starting point
5. Eat better:
You are what you eat. Write down all that you eat for a few days, and then start making adjustments
6. Talk to yourself well:
Make a commitment to only say nice things about yourself to yourself for 10 days and remind yourself about it when you catch yourself doing otherwise
7. Avoid multitasking:
Keep your mind focused on what you are doing in the now, and bring it back gently with an anchoring word when you catch yourself ruminating about the past and or wondering about the future
8. Be selectively social:
Limit your social circle only to those people who make you feel better about yourself, those you can learn from, and those who inspire you to do more.
9. Take calculated risks:
There is no growth without risk. Everyday do something that is uncomfortable for you. Wake up earlier. Talk to someone you argued with, for example
10. Wake up earlier:
Wake up 10min earlier than the day before for a few days everyday and you will see how much more time to be spend on things than make your life more meaningful you will ‘gain’
