The Neighbor [ Mr. Rogers-meets-Lovecraft ASMR ]

- Its Mr. Rogers meets H. P. Lovecraft in this impromptu, somewhat-sinister tale of a man who has more in store for you, his neighbor, than mere relaxation and sleep.
Video contains various triggers such as stirring ice, whispering, reading & page flipping from The Good Book, crinkling and tapping sounds, and of course some good ol' R'lyehian thrown in for good measure.
Background: This was originally going to be "Wholesome ASMR", but with thoughts of Mr. Rogers percolating in my subconscious, as well as finding a single cardigan sweater at the local thrift shop, well... here we are.
Dedicated to the late and great Fred Rogers of the famed Mr. Rogers' Neighborhood who I grew up watching.

What is ASMR?
To me, ASMR is 2 things: a sensation and a medium (like music for example).
The sensation itself (ASMR) stands for Autonomous Sensory Meridian Response and is the current (non-scientific) name given to the feeling characterized as a pleasurable tingling sensation felt in the head, scalp, back and other regions of the body in response to visual, auditory, tactile, olfactory, and/or cognitive stimuli, such as crinkling bags, hand movements, whispering and personal attention. It's like goosebumps, but much more pleasant.
ASMR videos, the medium, are not only meant to help induce the sensation or "tingles" in the viewer, but also help provide a relaxing, calming and soothing experience for the viewer. They often help those dealing with anxiety, stress, headaches, insomnia, mental health issues, concentrating, studying and more. It is quite therapeutic, for both the creator and recipient, which is not that much different than the mediums of music and painting, for example.

Funnily enough that's exactly what I call my neighbour, she even moaned about the fact that a strong wind broke a branch off a tree from our garden and it landed in hers haha.

Anthony Adamo well he likely learned this when he was young and didn't have a say in the matter lol. I suppose he could have purposely mispronounced things he has likely known for quite some time for now. I mean it's good that he said them correctly and all, I'm just saying it doesn't come as a surprise.
A lot of atheists also grew up believing too. I grew up on a religious family and just winded up becoming more spiritual. I have family who grew up in the same environment and became atheists. Then again, my family wasn't strict with it. We had a right of choice. He might have not.

STORMAGEDDON 711 My two favorite things about Mr. Rogers I found out only just recently. 1) The reason he narrated everything that he did was because a blind girl told him that she loved his show but she had a hard time following along. So he begin vocalizing everything he did for her. 2) he was a former navy Seal and the reason he wore a sweater was because he had tattoo sleeves all along his arms.

He was a sniper in the Navy SEALS and had a big "finding Jesus" revelation, on which he started his show! People got Captain Kangaroo and Mr. Rogers confused!
