I loved most of the Elvis movies. Admittedly some were not up to standard but when you hear the King sing like this in an otherwise seldom seen film you realise there are gems that are not given the credit they deserve. He really was the best.
I love this song from one of my favorite Elvis movies.The mid sixties got a lot of stick from critics and fans alike but they were movies of their time and millions of people loved them.All of hem had one thing in common .The greatest singer ever to be filmed and recorded.He had the potential to be so much better if some dimwit manager had not just gone for the quick big bucks.
I believe that so much of the world worshipped him that he could do anything. Imagine a concert tour of the Middle EAst. He would have made both see Spence and stopping the war. His voice incredible as always
