Consider this channel a media blender, a sort of Media-O-Matic. Any live music that I do is created "on the spot". Acoustic, electric, drums, vocal, all of it is created and performed "on the spot". Plus I post vintage 78 RPM records, 45 RPM records, and LP records played in real time. The audio is not from a cd or computer program. The source is the actual record. I also post footage from a public access television show that aired in Cincinnati, Ohio in the 1980's called "Blue Monday ". I also post scenes from my current public access show "Who's The Guy In The Hat?". I also post anything else that fits the blender profile. My hope is that you will enjoy this blender barrage.

The tape this live version of "House Party" came from was the result of a whim on the part of Frank Pavlich (house mixer for the J. Geils band) and me many years ago. We were doing an outdoor show in Georgia (Athens?) in the late 70s and I suggested that we put my boombox cassette player next to him on the mixing board and see what a tape made of the band's set sounded like after the show, beca...

Years ago, when I would get home from work late at night, sometimes I'd play my acoustic guitar in my bedroom to unwind. I'd sometimes record what I did on a cassette boombox sitting on my dresser. The audio on this video is one of the things I made up after work and recorded in one take on that boombox. I came across it recently and here it is.

I bought this vintage Magnatone lap steel (serial # 52109) in a pawn shop in Bakersfield California around 1977. You could tell it led a hard life and was heavily customized by somebody. It has a hand-made bridge that has a slot for a seventh string above high E that it had once upon a time and hole in the headstock where a tuner once went.. It has always had a fat full sound. A sound that insp...

I'll tell ya how in the -hell- world the old folks tell it ain't gonna rain no more! They poisoning our beautiful thunderstorms with silver iodide now, is how. To maximize profit.

I've only ever seen this once on a DVD my mom's friend had of old cartoons, and it's been stuck in my head since. Glad I found it again Also, for reference, I'm 20, I'm not as old as y'all lol
Changed the words to this song. Sing it at the jaag club. Come on a jaag does bends. Yank tank ???? . No chance.
A big undertaking for a three piece band. Or was McKeag still with us? Warren King is amazing!
Listened again we were still a five piece band n

I used to have a long-haired Dashund. I used to make a joke, "they told me to get a long little doggie, so I did."
show coisa de prima excelente aí sabe !
Jan Berry is almost a forgotten '60s rock participant. But his dramatic production of this record (along with his other Jan & Dean productions) is surpassed by no one else.
I had this on a kids cartoon compilation vhs as a child! Haven't seen it in years!!
The Program brought me to this song... Great song!
This reminds me of Yosemite Sam singing his version that went: "I can't get a long little doggy I can't even get one that's small No, I can't get a long little doggy I can't get a doggy at all" 😂
It’s amazing that Cab Calloway was still performing when I was born
So cool - the very best of Jazz of that period
It's your misfortune and none of my own
I freakin' LOVE Chicago!!!
What a treat that we have this performance on video that we can watch whenever we want Cab Calloway was amazing. I don’t know what it would take to see another performer or another era of music that was so impactful.
Johnny depp singing this masterpiece😢
This is my childhood from my VHS tape. 😍
Pee wee Herman is a good drummer.
Thank you George, and especially you, Roy! We shared this magical baseball year together!!! ⚾️

This sounds like it would fit into a Tarantino flick
Cool but crazy
In 1962 when the E Jag came out I knew I would have to have one. A number of years later I got one and it was the greatest car I’ve ever owned. Had to sell it to take care of my family and always figured I would get another one. Can’t possibly afford one at now days prices. This song was my riding song. PS to all you Vette drivers, the Jag won the race. He states “ and then I saw the Jag slide into the curve”. He doesn’t say in his rear view mirror and right before he says “ he passed me at Dohene and I started to swerve so I pulled her out and there we were at deadman’s curve. If the guy in the Jag died he still won!!!
I wanted to jump up and give him a standing ovation, and I am in my living room.

0:23 look at the woman to Cab's left - just look at that SMILE!! That's what true excitement looks like. I hope you're still smiling, whoever you are!
Ahh..memories. First time I heard this I was 16 in Houma, Louisiana. My folks and I had just moved there and were living in a rented old (!!) little air stream trailer by the highway that led into town, poor as church mice. Next door was an all night gas station where a lot of times I'd hang out evenings after school whenever I wasn't hangin' with pals Gordon and Ted (square cat ) Robichaux. There was an AM radio inside the gas station on the desk blasting 50s music constantly. And one day I heard... Honkey Tonk Part 2. Wow, I thought, what..a..cool..song! I was already a 50s rock 'n' roll nut but this was so....different. Life is strange 'cause 4 years later I fronted and sang in my own early R 'n' R band outta Portland Oregon touring with famous cats, playing clubs, cutting a few records (one of 'em still plays on CZcams, a rocker called You Hurt Me So...on Lavender label). So, anyway one song we always had in my band's stage song list was, yep, Bill Dogget's Honkey Tonk Part 2. I'm Leon and this has gone on long enough. Bye, thx!
I watched "Kids In The Shoe" from Pee-Wee's Playhouse: "Rebarella" (1989).
いやー、お元気!
From the classic GLORY OF LOVE album on A&M/CTI. The notes say Herbie enjoyed covering tunes from the "obscure" singer Ray Charles. Of course, everyone knows Ray's hits well, including this one. This version surely honors the original well.
Didn't have cable growing but my dad made sure I had VHS tapes to watch and this was one my favorites. I been singing to myself for years 😂
This is when cars had real muscle 💪 Real Music for Real Cars🏆🇺🇲🏆
The last time I watched this I was like 4 or 5. I’m 43 now and I remember everything! As a kid I didn’t realize it was from the 1940’s!

Grew up in New Orleans baby dogs and this song by Gary Bonds along with Smiley Lewis, Fats Domino, Huey Piano Smith, Frankie Ford and a lot of others like Chris Kenner, Loyld Price Eddie Breaux ,Irma Thomas and a host of others performed and some still play in and around New Orleans. America's biggest and greatest melting pot where Rock and Roll really began and these artists and songs have been copied ever since since by the Stones ,Dave Clark Five , The Beatles , The Animals and hundreds of others say New Orleans is the greatest music mecca that ever was and still is. And just think I grew up right in the middle of all this talent and history.
