- This is a video that very accurately portrays the douchebag pedicab operators that I and this city of Austin have to put up with on a daily basis. If in fact you are not one of these douches then please take no offense but if you pedicab then you very well might be. Sorry bout cha!

Hey Mathew, the skit is really fucking funny. I live in Austin and it is hard to avoid 10 pedicabs on every corner yelling at and harassing people on the street like bums. However not all pedicabbers do this unfortunately we have 500 operating in a 10 block radius so the shit happens a lot. I found this video humorous and actually its an inside joke here that being a douchebag is a compliment. By the way I have been pedicabbing here and around the South for 5 years and making good money so GFY.

In India we call it rickshaw or cycle rickshaw. It connects people from bus stops to their doorstep, or door step to local shops. Previously we also had hand pulled ones, with huge wheels at the back. Now those are obsolete.

lol at 1:54 my first time on a pedi cab in D.C. I thought this was going to be me. It was a tiny, super thin lady over 50 and I had my huge 50lb luggage with me I must of asked her if she was ok at least 20 times. she was a beast on that bike it was the most amazing ride ever. loved every second

It's not so horrible. From Portland City Hall to PDX it's only a 10 mile bike ride. Regular riding conditions it's about an hour. Now with massive cargo load....Who knows!!!

Giant,huge,Obese Tourists are pretty much the clientele on ol' Duval St. for them as a lot of them large folks have great difficulty getting in a wee pink Hybred and are challenged to squeeze in a Yellow Crown Victoria,the step up into a full sized Taxi Van ain't easy either for some . . . . Whoever made this video obviously never had to hustle for a living like a pedicab driver has to. I was a local pedicab driver for several years in San Diego. I gave rides and tours at a fair rate and anybody that rode my bike went away knowing a little more about the Star of India, The Martime Museum which it's a part of, the Gaslamp , its history, food, and even Ghost stories like the ones at the Horton Grand HoteI or the Davis House. I did this till I got fed up with the situation concerning the J1 Visa drivers from Turkey, Russia and other places. Most of them were like locusts ruining the business. I was never rude or obnoxious to my customers or even people that turned me down unless they went really out of their way to push my buttons. I'm human, Not perfect. If there were a few local riders exhibiting obnoxious behaviors I apologize for them. Lastly to the individual who alledges we sell coke. When people like you approached me I just very cordially asked them if they wanted a ride and then very assertively and politely told them to go away and on reflection maybe I should've also said Fuck off asshole or I'll call the cops on you.

I drive a pedicab and make a hundreds upon hundreds every night I work with fair rates and under 30 hours a week. It’s fucking awesome! And I love this skit, just not the title. It’s not grammatically correct. And it is also written by a douchebag.
