Darren's defensive game in this fight was immense. Criminally underrated that the fact that Gastelum, for the first time I can remember, literally could not hit someone clean. Almost every strike was either blocked or Till rolled with it. I was so immeasurably impressed with the improvements in Darren's game. I mean, not that he cares what I think, but I can't remember the last time I was so struck by a fighter's ability to defend. And I thought it was very entertaining. I loved the technical aspect of the fight.
So underated & he still growing as a fighter. Can't wait to see him in future fights

Warren Hanson Till was really under pressure in his home country against masvidal he was saying all the time leading up to the fight he would not be satisfied if he didn’t take masvidal out in the 1st round, he clearly went in there to brawl and that was his mistake. Fighting technical like this I hope to see good things from him

I believe this was his best performance, maybe not in the fact of entertainment but purely because of the maturity shown and executed. Perfect gameplan for an extremely dangerous opponent in Gastelum. I hope Till uses this gameplan more often as he has an even brighter future ahead of him, he's doing our country proud.

@M Harish of course there is. Otherwise why would every single fighter need a coach that comes up with a game plan to beat opponents. Sure, nothing's fool proof. But it's the next best thing.
u call gameplan i call avoid to fight seriously. he was not 100%confidence of himself and that was clear all 3 round. it s a W but he needs other type of performance to say "im back" and stuff like that

This is interesting to see. In fact, the differences between his and Adesanya's performances were distinct. Adesanya went to war with Gastelum, but Till confused him with feints and nimble footwork, worked a more efficient clinch, and stuffed any attempts to keep him down on the ground. Adesanya did much of the same, but where Till was more than happy to let off a one-two every now and again and take small victories to win his bout, Adesanya was more willing to trade with Gastelum and ignite fireworks. I'd love to see Adesanya/Till after watching this. A part of me feels that not enough people give Till credit for how skilled he really is.
I think Till will beat Adesanya. I also sadly think their fight will be a bit of a snooze fest

Love Whittaker but he's had much more success in the UFC. The hype was so big around Till and rightfully so but unfortunately due to cutting way too much weight things just didn't go his way. So it's not extremely like this, but its sort of a comeback story and he hasn't had enough wins to be considered at the top top yet. So I for sure want Till to get this one

Great video. So interesting to get the prospective of the fighters, particularly before entering the octagon, Till feeling more nervous than ever before. The major difference between the greats and not so greats is the soaking up of all that pressure & loving it, Conor Mcgregor is that fighter, they're a rare breed.
