If she, at 30 years old, hasn't yet figured that out, and she's as massive as she is, then she should just go to Chicago to the wedding gown shop, "Haute Couture." It's owned by a Black woman who specializes in dresses for very large women. And all one has to do is look online for such stores...they do exist, and one doesn't have to go the UK for specialty sizes.

Bridal consultants say nothing - when the bridal appointment is made, the receptionist also says nothing - the bride's mother and bridesmaids say nothing ... Everyone is oblivious to the obvious.
Since the average IQ is 100 ... the tidbit that the public fails to realize is that the 100 IQ's are the intellectual equivalent of a school child.
That's why MOST adults can't do middle school algebra - most adults can't do fourth grade division - they don't have their third grade multiplication table memorized - while reading comprehension - for MOST adults is age 13 and under - that's why newspapers are written at the eighth grade level - and since most adults don't even read the newspaper, you can begin to realize the problem - maybe you can begin to realize why most marriages end in divorce and why most children grow up hating their parents - and abandoning them in senior care facilities - with little to no visits - if you think that doesn't happen, call up a senior care facility and ask them.
When you realize MOST brides are NOT intelligent, not even those with their PhD's and master's degrees who also have the mind of a child - with pathetic math skills and horrendous reading comprehension, then maybe you'll pause to ponder what in the hell is going on ... maybe you'll realize what "dumbing down" actually means ... maybe you'll pause to wonder what the schools are actually teaching with their idiotic "scientific" theories that are adolescent guessing games, juvenile wild imaginings and other unsubstantiated preposterous nonsense.

Minus your filthy language, why would anyone say anything about "wedding dress "prep"?" All one has to do is look online for all the information they need, and/or call the chosen salon and ask to speak with a consultant about anything customer needs to know.

Tricia is her friend now, but perhaps not in 10 years??? Anything's possible. And then she'll be looking at her photos thinking " oh yeah...a former friend of mine picked my dress. I actually don't know where she is any more.'😮
Ladies...chose a dress you think will wow your future spouse because YOU feel great in it. It's about you two. Everybody else is only there to witness your joy. If you ask them in ten years what kind of dress you were wearing, they'll say something like "oh you were soooo pretty". But if you ask your spouse, they should say.."I couldn't take my eyes off you because you just lit up the room." So really...friends can have an opinion but they don't get to decide.

I personally think that even though Trisha became pushy , she's right about the style (of wearing something with straps) as her shoulders are broad and something with v neck and straos would look very sexy on her..having any body type or shape isn't "body shaming" like some people are saying , it's about accepting it as is and finding the right style. The consultant showed her an awful gown with straps. They should've shown more.

My daughter in law asked her mother, her Aunt, and myself to go with her to shop for her dress. She wanted a plain satin dress but once she put it on, she decided it wasn’t for her. Only THEN did we give our opinion on the dress, and we agreed with her. But if she would’ve loved the dress, we would have all loved it on her!! Its the brides dress and it’s her wedding, and we were there to support HER decision! She eventually chose a dress that was stunning and she burst into tears as soon as she saw herself in the dress and we all knew THAT was the dress! But even if I hadn’t liked the dress, I would’ve kept my mouth shut, because obviously she loved the dress to have that kind of reaction!
