Sir, allow me to enlighten you as to why I do not "stand with Israel". On 8 June 1967, I was on active duty in the United States Navy. On that date which will live in infementy, Israeli Air Force and naval unites carried out a pre-planned attack on an American Naval that was flying a large American flag and was otherwise clearly identified as an American Naval vessel. On that date Israeli attack forces murdered, in cold blood, thirty four American sailors. The purpose of the attack was to sink the ship with the loss of all hands, then blame the Egyptians. When their plain failed, Israel said "Oops, case of mistaken identity, thought the ship was Egyptians, so sorry". I did not know any of the crew members murdered that day, but because were fellow sailors, I did then and do today, take the attack very personally.
