I honestly don't want Mahjabeen's character to go back to Abdullah anymore! In MPTH a wife cheated so she wasn't considered an 'aurat' itself by the writer. Now what? Just because he's a man and it's in his nature so he's allowed to cheat and then live happily ever after with his wife once he 'realises' how wrong he is... If women don't deserve second chance after cheating, then a man shouldn't get one either!

Honestly you can't compare the two. Mehwish in MPTH committed adultery. and that too not even once. she continued this for over several months. she wasn't even ashamed of her actions. and that act alone makes her punishable by death according to islam. And ofcourse islam is equal for both genders. I'm not sure about the writer's take on all of that. but just because men get away with cheating in our society (although that's completely wrong) doesn't mean that women should be allowed to cheat as well? i really don't understand some feminists' logic that 'just because nobody questions a man for sinning, we are fully entitled to sin as well'.
By the way, Shehwar did have the same fate. He didn't get a second chance either.
Anyway even though what Abdullah is currently doing in PKS is not right. But atleast he isn't sleeping with Shanzey out of wedlock.
Tbh if Mehwish had simply taken a divorce and married Shehwar before sleeping with him, i could have forgiven her atleast even if i wouldn't have wanted for Danish to marry her again.
Abdullah is stuck now because Shanzay is threatening to commit suicide again. I know he shouldn't have put himself in that situation in the first place. But Sarwar pushed him into it and Abdullah is shown as having a weak personality and being bullied by Sarwar and now Shanzay.
Hassan's singing is the BEST part of the episode. Kudos Hassan
Kudos to Ramsha who maintained consistency from the 1st until the last episode of ishqiya in delivering the same expression throughout. It's easy to say yet very difficult to portray.

Why couldn’t Pyaar ke sadqay just revolve around the story of two innocent people, one having lack of confidence and the other having dyslexia; Abdullah n mahjabeen. Why does EVERYYYY Pakistani drama start revolving around SHAADI BIWI SUSAR DOOSRI SHAADI TALAQ MISCARRIAGE etc it kinda all becomes the same in the end.
And a recent addition to this mix: SISTER RIVALRY AND WANTING TO MARRY YOUR OWN BROTHER IN LAW :@

Abdullah is not a typical hero, don't expect him to be perfect, he is weak and underconfident person who's being constantly brainwashed by his step father.. He doesn't want to leave Mahjabeen but shanze is forcing him to "leave her otherwise I'll die", what can he do in this situation...i don't know why people are hating Abdullah he is just an innocent person.. Even sarwar being villain is not getting as much hate as Abdullah is getting being an innocent character... And Bilal's portrayal of Abdullah is phenomenal.. He did complete justice to his character and he deserves appreciation!
No one is forcing anyone he still has lingering feelings for shanze. No one expects him to be perfect but he's becoming worse. I don't like his character and don't want him to end up with mahjabeen
Bilal surely deserves appreciation for such a brilliant portrayal of Abdullah. And I do agree Abdullah doesn't deserve as much as hate as he is getting from the audience but I think the main problem is that he was a nice character until Shanzay came back. Sarwar's always been the villain and no one was expecting any good from him but Abdullah's behaviour raised audience's expectations and him not living up to those expectations is what, I believe is the reason behind the hate he is getting.
Though, I must say everything Abdullah has done till now is absolutely in-line with who he really is.
My problem is that he isnt being innocent anymore... he is playing with the feelings of mahjabeen by not telling her the truth... if he was innocent he shld not bear hiding the shanze part from his wife... i dont see any innocense here , he is playing with the trust and feelings of mahjabeen

I'm a bit "naraz" with u both. Personally, I saw so many flaws in drama Mohabbat tujye alvida which u both ignored.
1. When she opens the fridge it was all over empty. (Kabhi kisi family ka fridge itna empty dakha hai?)
2. Overacting was ruining the drama everyone has put up so much makeup even her neighboring friends.
3. Why didn't they take their son with them on a dinner? And then ordered a pizza? Who does this? A normal family doesn't miss their children when they are going out. Plus a family like this who awaits to go out to have good food.
4. When Zahid knows a new female boss is taking over the charge of his office why he overacted so much?

Ishqiya was so frustrating. Hamna should've been more clear when admitting to Azeem, I feel like he's under the impression that she cheated on him. She could've clarified that Hamza is blackmailing her? Now he just thinks that her and Hamza are in love and cheating on their spouses.

Yes hassan Sonya Hussain is obviously inspired by sridevi and it's bit irritating while Zahid as aamna said has a range but although it's a rip off enjoyed the episode but I think Sonya ma'am 's character is OTT so she is playing like that with all due respect it was a little OTT and the flaws in the episode too

PKS was an extreme disappointment starting from Abdullah's treatment of Mahjabeen, Mansoora begum's lack of thinking capacity, Shanzay's manipulation, and Sarwar's selfishness. This is becoming a typical drama and I really really hope Mahjabeen comes out stronger and leaves this dysfunctional family for good.
Hats off to Yumna for her performance! If I could, I'd ask Mahjabeen to move in with me and be her best friend!

Hassan LOL at your ishqiya review. 😂You’re actually spot on about everything. Azeem is the real hero in ishqiya. That’s the character that needs to be highlighted and put on a pedestal not the sociopath blackmailing hamza. Also I think feroz is type cast in these larger than life roles and he needs to experiment some with different roles - Khaani, gule Rana, this.
The only reason why ishqiya is trending is bcz everyone is after the *kabir singh* version of love (which in actual is not even close to love). In the current age of 'tik tok' most of the young generation is after such stories. Tik tok videos are an evidence to this as they are full of such story lines. It's sad how the makers are glorifying such stuff and the viewers are loving it. Sad sad sad!!

Kashf is going the best. I like how Wajdan kept threatening Matiullah that he'll call the police and how Matiullah is afraid of that. Glad for once someone isn't glorifying the Peer culture and calling it what it is: Dukaandari . I really admire Saleem Mairaj's acting he's very versatile. Overall it's going great.

They say u can tell a lot abt a person by how they react in anger. Azeem is a gentleman. He didn't get violent, didn't shout at her, didn't insult her. He was just hurt and said what was true in a non-aggressive way. Thank God for the portrayal of a good man on tv.

By conducting interviews, journalists are not only doing their job, but also, shedding light on the content of the show which help us decide if it's worth watching. As viewers, we have the right to know why we should be spending 40 mins of our lives watching a drama every week and these journalists are helping us achieve this goal. To our "stars", please remember that if you fail to treat the journalists/ fans with respect no one is going to watch your shows- even if you're the best actor in the world. The current situation concerning some celebrities in Bollywood is a big wake up call for all the artists in the entertainment industry.

In my opinion, Nomi's sexuality doesn't matter to story BECAUSE writer is using homosexuality just to taint Nomi's character. Just to show him as a characterless guy. Because I highly doubt pakistani writers can grasp the concept of sexuality in a positive way. They are only going to use it to show that Nomi lives his life sinfully. What I understood from the episode was that they were showing homosexuality as Nomi's choice. He is choosing to "have fun" with his male friends. Hence, the backlash from Sahiba.
My sympathies are for Nomi who has to hide his sexual orientation from everyone and has to live his life, secretly. It's not his fault, at all. His sexuality is a badly written problematic aspect of his character.
Its role reversal in PKS now.. Earlier it was Abdullah who was harrassing Shanzey "Tum mujhse shaadi nahi karogi toh main tumhe kidnap kar loonga" types and now its Shanzay who is emotionally manipulating Abdullah.."Shaadi karo nahi toh suicide kar loongi".... :\ But that doesnt make any of them right.. Shanzay took a firm stand that time.. I believe Abdullah should have learnt his lesson and did the same now.

Plz could u also acknowledge the death of ur own Pakistani legends such as Sabiha Khannum and Tariq Aziz.. u mentioned the death of Rishi Kapoot and Irfan khan and did a whole episode which is fine but atleast acknowledge ur own stars too like comedian Amman Ullah. I applaud Amma and Munshi show who always mention the deaths of the Pakistan stars
They always do haute bites on these topics. I would suggest you dont bring being an Indian or a pakistani into this. Stop hating on people just because they have emlathy.

I was actually happy that they spoke about the deaths of legends of India so they should with Pakistani actors too. Instead of judging me that I'm spreading hatred think of what I actually said. Grew up watching Bollywood so y would I hate them and would love to go and visit India one day too.

4) Mahjabeen's character development is consistent. She is innocent from beggining. She does not hv good iq and doesn't conform to society's idea of acceptibility but she knows people's real faces yet she stays silent not bcuz she is the usual mopping heroine. Rather she is saving their faces in their own eyes. When mansoora sends her home she knows why it's done but doesn't make it a big thing in front of her mother.
5) the most appreciable quality about mahjabeen is that she doesn't mope about things for too long n moves on to making another attempt to improve the situation. Also from day one she accepts her reality unlike other heroines characters usually shown she admits her weaknesses and she is not living in some bubble and she proves to be honest and strong when there is a need to be

Washma aur hassan ki love story aur dekhani chaye thi Abdullah- shanzay ka koi logic nahi banraha lekin washma hasaan ki storyline honi chaye thi ais ki jagha .
Ab kya kahaye bhai , jab ap ko ye feel hone lagjaye k Abdullah ko mahjabeen se pyar he nahi tha tu aur ais se ziyada kya heartbroken hoga.

PKS is clearly going off track. It had such a good start but seems like we will have to bear this stupid second marriage angle! Having two of the finest actors and them having such bomb chemistry wasn't enough for team PKS it seems. Anyway, I still hoping sense will be restored as this was one of the best dramas on telly no long ago.
P. S. Although I am disappointed in the recent episode, gotta give credit to Yumna and Bilal for their acting! That last scene literally had me in tears! Kudos to these two brilliant actors! I hope we get to see more of them in a good project in the near future.

U know if they just focused on the sick father-in-law hitting on bahu as well as the Abdullah being the rightful heir to what seems like familial wealth and the dynamics between mansura and her son and mansoora and her husband the drama wld achieve a lot more depth and breadth. Shanzay distraction was well and good to test Abdullah's mettle before and after his marriage. But now it's just stretching it and showing him as being confused. Which he is, but still, it's shifting the focus of the drama. Focus on a few issues and u can achieve so much more.
@@fudgeSg Absolutely! I am not giving up on PKS because they can still have this Sarwar harassment angle in and it should be addressed at some point. But it's disappointing to see the importance Shanzay's track is having as of now. I wish we could go back to the 20th episode and have different start. But alas, that's what we got! Alsi, Bilal saying in a recent IV that there are still about 10-12 episodes left possibly means the dusri shaadi is going to take place sooner or later😒
PyarKaySadqay was so depressing , bechari Mahajabeen she is so helpless, nobody stand with her against sarwar and such people like sarwar exist in our society and we have no idea how many simple and innocent girls like Mahajabeen tolerate harassment in their own houses and they feel helpless because nobody listen a word against such people because they portray themselves respectable in front of other people . 🥺🥺

Aliya Bawany I get like the actors of the dramas there reviewing they would ask all the actors and it can be annoying if you keep on asking the same thing when they say the’ve tried but I don’t think it should be a problem if you ask once of someone that’s not part of the dramas. I think that’s what more they meant is just stop constantly asking for one person because it can get a bit hurtful since the actor didn’t bother even replying to them

I liked the first episode MTA. Good chemistry between both, Sonia and Zahid. I don’t mind if the story is inspired by the film Judai, I think it will be be much better than the film.Looking forward. A definite watch for me.

hasan you are right the last 2 minutes of the episode walk of shame of abdullah the sad version of ost and the flashback mahjabeen hurtful expression has taken my heart I literally wanted to cry in that scene yes Bilal and yumna both deserve appreciation what a splendid display of acting
the episode was amazing I believe the separation of Abdullah and mahjabeen is necessary now Abdullah will miss her and will realized it how special is mahjabeen in his life
