Thanks for the followup Tommy. I had a nice chat with Alejandro several weeks ago at our local Long Island Cars n Coffee. He’s done a great job with his car. Next mods I’m contemplating for my M2C are the CDV delete and possibly an Ohlins coilover setup.

I absolutely love the styling of the M2. It looks good stick. It looks good modified. The bulging rear quarters are just so good looking! I’ve previously owned a supercharged E46 M3 manual. I can’t wait until I’m done with school to buy an M2, in this exact color!

I had an m3 comp with mp adjustable springs. I now own an m2 with these coilovers and it’s stock but I must say I enjoy the m2 more. A lot more direct
Would you say it’s easier to handle in regards to the rear kicking out?
@@verde629 just much better balanced. So to answer your question yes. But it doesn’t kick out as easy as m3

You recently drove TW’s Supra and now again the M2. Would love to hear you opinion on the similarities and differences, do they serve same or different purposes, etc.
Supra is faster. But m2 handles a lot better.
My $ would be on the m2.
I just started my adventure with my new (new to me) M4. I wanted the M4 because I’m a tall guy and the size of the M4 suited me better. Hopefully I have as much fun as everyone else does!

I’m not surprised the difference is noticeable because of the wheelbase. Fun fact: the M2C wheelbase is shorter that the E46 M3.
I’d go F80 because of the the way it looks. I actually thought the Non-S55 M2 was nicer looking than the M2C. But I dislike the look of the rear end all together.

I traded my 981 Cayman S for an OG M2 and love it!
I still love my cayman S. It has a much better manual transmission
@@TommyLGarage yeah their MT's are hard to beat. Had i lived in a lower elevation area and not had pdk, I probably would've kept it 😁
Hey Tommy, can you adjust your sound settings when you go from talking audio to music audio, because it blast way too loud during music or auto sounds. so I end up lowering the sounds during music or car sounds and raise during conversations, im running on computer speakers in my situation.

If it is my choice, I would have a Cayman GT4 PDK as my track car and an M2 CS manual for Weekends.

M2 comp all day. If the crank hub is done, then you add full bolt ons, that car is smoking any M3 or M4 on the road
It won’t smoke the M3 by a lot but it will feel more nimble
Year old video, but I have a question. I'm looking for a 2021 M2 Competition (don't like the G87 looks) and I was curious if you've had a chance to drive a 2023 Supra 6MT or how it may compare. I really can't decide between this M2 Comp or a manual Supra for reliability, resale value, and overall weekend fun. I'm not looking to have the fastest car on the road, just a fun vehicle.
M2 comp all day long. Forget about resale value. Supra has inferior suspension and overall feels like an inferior car.
I shift from M2 to new M4 ..hell of different no regret

Tommy, how does this compare to ThicWhips Supra?
That’s an excellent question. The supra actually feels a little bit faster. But because this one is a manual transmission car you’re a course to me feels like her better fun car. And also the suspension on this one is a lot better than the supra.
Can you feel the weight difference from your f80? I know there isn't to big of a difference.
You feel the shorter wheelbase the most.
How many hrs did it take to install shifter bushing?

Where is the dry carbon radio trim from?
Second that question.. finding dry carbon is really hard!
If I'm not mistaken it's from a German company called 'Faserschmiede Carbon Manufaktur' - they use OEM base when making the dry carbon which makes the fitment 100%. I'm not aware of any other companies that offer that trim piece in dry carbon apart from this one.

The closest thing to my first dream car. The E46 M3!
E46 is not that good
I’ve got the M2C and E46 M3 Coupe 6mt and the E46 kicks the arse of the M2 for pure driver feedback. M2 is quicker and not as analogue as the E46 but it’s not always about the speed hence why the E46 is the true purists choice.
Manuals are best :)

I’d take the m3 no doubt. The m2 no matter how much you do to it, it still ugly, and there’s no point going fast if you can’t look good doing it 🤣
