Absolutely LOVED this!!! Been a Jam & Lewis fan for many years and followed their journey!!! I promise you as a 57-year old retired police officer who has ALWAYS been a musician to the soul, these two still give me hope for writing and producing… even if it only gets a placement in a commercial or perhaps a few seconds on a television broadcast. As Terry said… THE JOURNEY is it for me!!!! Brother you did an awesome job interviewing such icons as J&L!!!! The dudes changed the game of music since Janet Jackson's Control followed by Rhythm Nation 1814, then produced by Cherrelle Fragile High priority Affair Herb Alpert Keep Your Eye On Me, SOS Band On The Rise, Just the way you like it, Sands Of Time albums, New Edition Heartbreak, Alex O'Neal Hearsay My Gift to You All True Man albums Johnny Gill self titled even Human League Crash and the list goes on and on This is why they named their production name Flyte Tyme Cause with so many hits, songs and albums they wrote and produced, to show how J&L were flying at the time on the charts.
One Thing i Envy of Jam & Lewis is their FRIENDSHIP Two Brothers Enjoying Their love for music together never heard on any feud or fall out..Almost a lifetime of True Friendship thats hard to find..or i havent found "Yet" with me..but yeah 👋👋👋👋👋👋👋 "Alexa Play "Love and My Best Friend" by Janet Jackson".....Underrated Ballad

Jimmy jam and terry lewis would often times give a writers credit to the singer even though the singer didnt write any of the song example "free" was a song written and produced by Jimmy and Terry but they gave MYA a small writers credit to help with the promotion of the song .

I fell in love with a beautiful woman that I thought was way out of my league. And one day she showed me janet Rhtym nation 1814 DVD and I fell in love e again. I was captured by the music and janet dancing. My girl must have saw the way I smiled. I really liked that brand of funk. My girl didn't want me to see janet in concert and she came to town, I got in line at Ticket Tron then got out of line and just went home. Later way after we broke up I heard she went to see janet in concert. But it's OK because I love music and Jam, Lewis, Janet are absolutely Hero's.
