My biggest gripe with the stormcloaks is that despite their boasts and claims they never take the fight to the elves, could we at least have gotten a quest where the stormcloaks raid the thalmor embassy
Absolutely!! Brilliant comment!! Didn't think of that. I went up there myself and Jen Jen and slaughtered ALL who moved there. Just two of us. Stormcloaks and hold guards are just big swaggering bully pussies who never actually do anything worth talking about when it comes down to it.
Because the thalmor embassy is a important place for main mission? And after the main mission they're all dead? Before the main mission he is in war and few manpower?
Stormcloaks actively trying to go to war with the thalmor when the country is nowhere near stable would be pretty dumb. Ulfric isn't exactly a genius, but attacking the embassy would be a super poor idea, even for him. They'd been stuck in a stalemate with a single legion lol
As a kid I always joined the storm cloaks because I just thought "It's a revolutionary faction in a video game. that automatically makes them good" without knowing anything about them lol. Never really played much plot in Skyrim, was too busy running around doing literally nothing.
i joined the stormcloacks first playthrough but ever since then i always went imperials mainly becuase of 1 revelation i made, the thalmor want the stormclocks to win or at least prolong the fight, the imperial empire that had bonds across multiple territorys couldnt beat the thalmor and thie civil war in skyrim only serves to divide them further, and you realise that without the empire the thalmor will swoop right in for an easy win, although either way the imperials already lost oce so even if the win the civil war in skyrim i still dont see them regaining enough strength to resist the thalmor. im almost positive they will be the main antagonistic force of tes 6
Why do people consider the nords racist? They're one of the least racist races in elder scrolls. The dark elves literally thought nords didnt have souls and owned huge amounts of slaves . They should be sucking Nord cock for allowing them to exist . As far as the khajit , they're all thieves and sell skooma and skooma accessories , every single caravan in game. Go check . Follow the law and nords will respect you
@@brandonwithnell612 Common misconception of the upcoming Second Great War is that the Imperials are not prepared. If you do enough digging, you can find that humans are established to have way higher birth and maturation rates than Elves and have already made up for the Lost Generation while the Elves are still struggling to get back to where they were (in-universe, many of their land forces were decimated when the Imperial City was retaken. Their navy is still strong though). This is partially why they can't take Hammerfell despite them being on their own against a whole alliance (an alliance rapidly tearing itself apart mind you), they simply don't have the manpower. Signs point to it being a propaganda effort to keep the Empire in the dark so they don't try and take initiative, which is pretty well reflected considering most see the Thalmor as this big unstoppable beast Now in terms of Stormcloaks Vs. Empire, I went Stormcloaks solely cause I found a note in the Thalmor Embassy saying that the Stormcloaks *shouldn't be allowed to win under any means necessary* and I wanted to piss them off, but I do Empire runs if it fits the character I'm making
“Why Stormcloaks?” “The Empire could at least have made something up as my crime. They can’t even dedicate the time to tattoo a number on my forehead, just send me off to die with no identity, an invisible woman who died without existing.”
I can't believe it. I cannot believe this show is being considered for skyrim/elder scroll memes- thank you so much for this please do more with this show - I can't wait because Father Ted is a gem of a comedy.
I am just some random Swede who stumbled across a VHS tape including Father Ted in the late 90's. To this day, I am still quoting and meming this thing to anyone who will listen (nobody).
Like a lot of players I too viewed Heimskr very unfavorably at the start: but when you get over your initial snobbery towards a manic street preacher like Heimskr, and actually listen to him, evaluating what he is saying with your intellect instead of your ego, you find that what he's saying makes sense and he actually deserves a LOT of acknowledgement and recognition for what he is doing. Everybody else walking by, going about their lives, their prosperity, food and shelter, while Heimskr is out under ALL weather, selflessly trying to raise their dim awareness, and just being mocked for it. Heimskr is actually a hero.
Absolutely, and don't forget, it was Ulfrich who came and overtook the Forsworn after they had taken back their own land in the Reach. Ulfrich is no hero. He's a sack of sh the more I see about him
Probably my favourite Father Ted Scene to this day still makes me laugh to high hell. But to think the dragonborn is a racist.. Who could have possibly seen that coming!
@@KynMites If you don't talk to the people in the docks outside of Windhelm you may never know that the Nords are racist towards Argonians, well at least in Windhelm. Dragonborn really is a high honor.

Best part is that there's a Chinese family that just happened to be outside, and that Craggy Island actually has a Chinatown. One of the best shows ever.

Started up Skyrim after getting Special Edition recently, couldn't remember a whole lot since I had only played it at around launch before that. Read books, listened to people of every kind. The only thing anyone can agree on:The Thalmor are a problem. Reason to not join Ulfric: He's fighting the Empire instead of trying to get them to help fight off the Thalmor and bidding time until they can. Reason to join the Imperials: They want the civil war over so they can focus on the real enemy of the Thalmor. Conclusion: Ulfric is a whiney teenager rebelling against his parents and the Empire wants to ground him so they can deal with actual issues.
This is great I always thought Father Ted would of been great for this format. After my last playthrough of Morrowind I talked to an Ordinator with 100 Speech and Personality after I declared myself Neraverine so they should of attacked me.
Unless the Thalmor restock the embassy with more cattle, I don't exactly see how that would be possible . . .
Because the Thalmor wouldn’t let him do that, they like to keep a tight leash on their dog
Please let this be the beginning of many Father Ted memes. There is so much good material to work with
To be fair, with Vivecs time-traveling antics and the fact he IS Vivec, he probably did invent gayness.
Well, from what I've heard, it seems Vivec definitely invented BDSM at least

As a kid I always joined the storm cloaks because I just thought "It's a revolutionary faction in a video game. that automatically makes them good" without knowing anything about them lol. Never really played much plot in Skyrim, was too busy running around doing literally nothing.
I joined the storm cloaks basically because imperials tried to kill me at the begining of the game
i joined the stormcloacks first playthrough but ever since then i always went imperials mainly becuase of 1 revelation i made, the thalmor want the stormclocks to win or at least prolong the fight, the imperial empire that had bonds across multiple territorys couldnt beat the thalmor and thie civil war in skyrim only serves to divide them further, and you realise that without the empire the thalmor will swoop right in for an easy win, although either way the imperials already lost oce so even if the win the civil war in skyrim i still dont see them regaining enough strength to resist the thalmor. im almost positive they will be the main antagonistic force of tes 6
Signs point to it being a propaganda effort to keep the Empire in the dark so they don't try and take initiative, which is pretty well reflected considering most see the Thalmor as this big unstoppable beast
Now in terms of Stormcloaks Vs. Empire, I went Stormcloaks solely cause I found a note in the Thalmor Embassy saying that the Stormcloaks *shouldn't be allowed to win under any means necessary* and I wanted to piss them off, but I do Empire runs if it fits the character I'm making
I never bothered with them. I always go Imperial simply because I don't want Picard and Sean Bean's sacrifices to be in vain.
“Why Stormcloaks?”
“The Empire could at least have made something up as my crime. They can’t even dedicate the time to tattoo a number on my forehead, just send me off to die with no identity, an invisible woman who died without existing.”

@@GoodOneLULE Dunmer are racist af. Calls everyone who isn't Dunmer N'wah(outsider) and enslaved the Argonians and treated them brutally.
When he's not in church, the father is in the Grey Quarter telling the Grey Skins what he thinks of them.
In an alternate universe, he's standing near Heimskr with the "Down With This Sort of Thing" sign.

Father Ted is in my top 3 list of favorite shows of all time.
Last line should be "Dragonborn: Talos!". Would fit perfect as Talos worship ban is the main reason for the Stormcloak rebellion...
Which makes it even dumber when you actually look into that shit show and find out that the Empire didn't even start really enforcing the ban until Ulfric went and had a temper tantrum about it. FFS, even after the crackdown, Legate Rikke isn't even subtle about her Talos worship, and the most Tullius, a fucking IMPERIAL GENERAL does if he overhears it is basically go "Hey. Not in public, okay?"
Fuckin' backwater goat diddlers can't keep their shit together for ten consecutive seconds.
No the main reason is Ulfric wants to be High King. People in game even admit the empire never enforced the ban in Skyrim until Ulfric
@@TheSlyzombie Ulfric wants to detach Skyrim from the empire. Becoming high king is just a tool for that.

More attention towards Father Ted is always a good thing.

This is great I always thought Father Ted would of been great for this format.
After my last playthrough of Morrowind I talked to an Ordinator with 100 Speech and Personality after I declared myself Neraverine so they should of attacked me.
