One time I was playing as a redguard and I was fighting a female thalmor when she suddendly say the line "Go back to your desert!". That was the only time I ever heard a thalmor say that, I'm not sure what triggered it.

It would have been cool if they had a special response to Bretons, as I recall some of the lore suggests that they are hybrids created by the Altmer.

@@GetgainzDe actually it is altmer since the aldmer were nigh extinct by that point. breton ancestery is altmer, the direnni high elves specifically during the late first era when the high elves of summerset were trying to colonize high rock. the direnni elves are an altmer group who simply broke free from the altmer of summerset. the bretons are a result of direnni altmer and nedic/nordic unions then the altmer blood being spread out. the bretons are probably 20% elf in their genealogy
btw Direnni are one of the major altmer houses of summerset before leaving because of opposing views and restrictions on magic. the Direnni clan are still around in the 4th era, though they keep to themselves.
all bretons have Direnni ancestors because the early Direnni felt they could improved the nords/nedes of high rock as supperior slaves by introducing elven blood through selective breeding with the humans. the result were half elves then these half elves bred with other humans and the altmer blood became the bretons but also during this time the Alessian order had destroyed all but 1 of the aldmeri cities led by Laloriaran Dynar at the time. this was prior to the direnni altmer creating the bretons through selective breeding
i want to point out that the ayleids were the last bastions of aldmer while the people of summerset were altmer due to being changed by living in the summer set isles both culturally and physically (the golden skin of altmer VS the more pail greyish skin of the aldmer, a good example of this is Laloriaran Dynar himself)

The AlTmer descended from the AlDmer, the Orcs and Dark elves came from different groups of Chimer, the dwarves are extinct, and finding an intelligent, non devolved snow elf is about as likely as needle in a haystack. But the Bosmer have been around in Tamriellic history since before the Altmer (at least from the in-game histories I've observed, so correct me if I'm wrong)

I find them mostly morally correct. That is the actual plan of the Thalmor. These grunts you encounter are feed some BS to make them spread fear and conflict. After killing everyone that's allowed to be killed, I do that to anything that's not nailed down like what's on tables and bookshelves. Doesn't impact the game in any way but it does feel cathartic. . .I also do that to Delphine whenever she finishes talking and it's time to move on. . .just don't do it when you're on Riverwood streets like when starting the quest to Kynesgrove. Hitting civilians with that shout is the fastest way to turn them hostile.
In lore, the shouts of the masters of the Thu'um was able to blow down walls like a stack of cards. And a Dragonborn would be much more powerful.
If the game were fully lore accurate, you would definitely be able to shout the entire embassy into the Sea of Ghosts.
If you let The thalmor stay at the meeting in hrothgar you can shout them off the biggest mountain in the world when it ends

The more the Thalmor insist that they're superior, the more pathetic they seem. They're absolutely mental if they think they can conquer Skyrim with dragons running amok.
The Thalmor think they can enslave the whole entire human race when in reality there is more human races than elven races. So basically the Thalmor would be outnumbered. I would love for them to try only to get their asses kicked by Nords, Redguards, Imperial, Orcs, khajits and all other races they consider inferior. Sounds like what hitler would do because the Thalmor are Basically Nazis in a way for wanting to exterminating or enslaving inferior races but in the end the summerset isles would end up being occupied by the Empire
To be fair if the dovahdick wasn't running around eating dragon souls the next best group for fighting then would probably be the thalmor. Their magic is the best of any race and can counter the dragons flight. Of course that doesn't matter cause Alduin can resurrect them anyways, but outside of the dragon born they are really the only people who stand a chance against the dragons

@@Zamtrios245 Well, the Thalmor are technically a political faction that took power in the Summerset Isles, very much like a certain political party in Germany back in the 1930's... So Thalmor are High Elves, but not all High Elves are Thalmor, just technically under their rule. And like most fanatic groups that achieve significant power, they are ruthless to anyone who are not part of their clique.
The Altmer voice actor is so good at his job. I absolutely loathe the Thalmor, and the way he makes his disgust known for anyone not a Thalmor is a big part of the immersion for me.
I usually try to play other races, but then I remember the Thalmor and instantly change to a Pelinal Whitestrake build to remind them what happens when they step out of line.
This is why, even if am an imperial soldier, I will always burn, electrify, freeze, stab, (5 hours later), or fist any Thalmor I come across, then eat them.

I use the Hunterborn mod to skin them and turn them into cloaks.

And the people who think the empire will magically turn against their elven masters if they were to win, when history dictates the thalmor would just start more trouble in another country and send them there.
While the empire is fighting Skyrim, Hammerfell is gaining strength, and when the empire gets sent to the next nation Skyrim will be gaining strength. The thalmor's days are numbered.
