23:45 If You Try To Heal Astrid - Hry
I love hitting NPC’s with healing spells, especially Farkas “HEY!…That feels good!” Or Borgakh “ugh, an Orc woman lets her wounds heal naturally 💅😒”
On a completely unrelated note, am I the only one who thinks that Borgakh is an absolute waifu? Like, most orc women aren't really that great, but she's actually hella cute.
@@Noobzlikeu i’ll have to disagree, i think most orc women are cute (including borgakh)
Or a Ghorbash the Iron Hand "You heal away my scars, and we're going to have a problem."
11:50 Okay but watching Meridia's pathetic little beacon roll down a hill while she angrily yells at you has the same energy as a little kid trying to punch you while you hold them back with one hand.
Bruh, could you imagine Cyrodiil reacting to the Sun turning dark?? They are probably thinking that the realm of Oblivion returned! 💀💀💀
Oblivion portals opened everywhere so not only people from cyrodiil would think that
Oblivion portals opened everywhere you can even find broken ones hidden around Skyrim if you look hard enough. Cyrodili got hit the hardest cause it's where the Emperor and Amulet of Kings were
@@laughingcloud3516 waith for real?
@@lordpickle65 I do know that with the creation club content for the anniversary edition one of the broken portals is functioning
@@lordpickle65 No, not in vanilla Skyrim.
“With a sky like that something bad is coming”
Dragonborn: yes…..me *quicksaves*
Oooh! So fun fact, if you kill Sybille stentor for being a vampiric witch, the Elf dude who tells you not to ask questions becomes the new court mage, and thanks you for killing her.
I do this every playthrough fuck vampires
Mmm makes me wonder if he wasnt wagging his tongue cuz he sucks at politics. He was hoping to pique some nosy adventurer's interest that could potentially get rid of her on account of being "an unholy vampire in the midst of Skyrim's Royal Court"
who is sybille stentor
@@sakura368 she’s the court mage in solitude.
@@tristanwallen5225 same. She doesnt even try to hide it either. Plus, she talks so much smack as if she isnt super easy to kill.
“Good to see another brother around” 🤜🤛 - Amren
My n’wah
@@idkhahahaha my redguard! Wassup homie
I wish there was a vampire wave system for when you use blood cursed arrows on the sun. The roads should be less safe, unnamed and random leveled vampires should “come out of hiding” and be more prevalent. And maybe even stumbling across Bandit camps fighting one of their own who’s turned
There kinda is. Gargoyles and death hounds spawn in the wild, and vampires occasionally attack towns.
@@harmonicaman4782 yeah but I wish it would’ve been turned up to 11, almost a naxi zombie wave-like encounter of vampires specifically for the sun blot
Tell that to the modding community.
They'll love it.
I think my favorite reaction to the tyranny of the sun is the whiterun guard. I love the delivery of the line.
He's the only one who actually sounds more than mildly concerned.
If you get caught reverse pickpocketing astrid she jumps up to attack you, then Nazir aggros her and kills her
Wait really? That’s hilarious
@@TTSP907 yep. The important part is you have to be caught, so a lower skill makes it easier
Also what’s funny is when you get far enough in the companion quest where Farkas and Vilkas become non essential you can make either one follow you, attack the other brother, then they’ll kill each other
I think the astrid thing is because she has negative health, so that if you heal her she'll go up to 0 and die, but if you damage her, the game will see she has 0 health or less and immediately die from the health damage as well
What if you hit her with Courage/Rally and then heal her up?
@@MrGoul78doesn’t change anything
This is because when you first meet her it’s supposed to trigger the night mother dialogue and the quest to kill the entire brotherhood IF you choose to kill her and not the bound up others but even after the first meeting with Astrid is still allows it to happen. It doesn’t lock you out from still doing it
Regarding the mission with Frost, you can actually inform Maven of Sibbi's plans and she'll tell you to go along with their little scheme.
After completing the quest, you may come across a random encounter where Letrush gets killed by sellswords hired by Maven.
If you choose to keep Frost (regardless of whether Maven knows about the plot or not), Letrush will send hired goons after you for reneging on the deal.
You can actually witness the hired hands attempt to kill Letrush, if you can save him there's dialog with him of moving far away and going on the run. I don't know if he actuallly does it or not but I've never seen him since that conversation.
If you are a vampire when you speak to Alva she will recognize it and have unique dialogue.
that sweet roll thing was savage fr
I just love that videos like this still are being uploaded for a game that's 13 years old
Honestly props to that one dark elf mage offering to tutor us despite winterhold being, well, shit. Considering in morrowind the dark elves were major xenophobes
Were? Lol
Neloth
I did soutraped Astrid soul in a black soulgem!
Astrid didn’t deserve eternity in the Soul Cairn
@@crimsonmaelstrom573I mean, despite any attachments we have, she was kinda a terrible person.
@crimsonmaelstrom573 I mean she is a serial killer
@@Justadonkey and she betrayed her Dark Brotherhood family. But even so, she understood how misguided she was at the end and accepted whatever punishment Sithis had in store for her. In my mind, Astrid doesn’t deserve eternity in the Soul Cairn
Neloth is voiced by the same voice actor as Mung Daal in Chowder in case anyone was wondering why his voice is so familiar
I feel bad for Ulfric. Such a zealot in life, but sad and lost once he has a moment to reflect.
You can actually find Babette outside when you fire off the bloodcursed arrow, I think she has a few unique lines too.
Turning your wife into a sweet roll and giving it to your kid 💀
Not also Brynjolf has unique dialogue/lines about Sibbi's plans, but Delvin Mallory as well.
Maven, too. In fact, as I recall, that quest goes very differently if you tell her about Sibbi's deal with Letrush.
I wish people reacted to armor like they do in nv
Get attacked by imperial patrols I'd you are wearing stormcloak armor etc etc
Just the other day I attacked some Thalmor who were escorting a prisoner. An entire party of Stormcloak soldiers walked right through the fight and refused to help. Afterward I figured out they didn't like me because I was wearing legionnaire armor. (I was not an actual member of either faction at the time.)
Okay, colour me impressed - I never knew about skill related dialogue when meeting farengar for the first time, and I know A LOT about the game - I've spent hours of UESP
I didn't know several of these. Great vid!
I once trespassed into one of the farms around Whiterun while the Stormcloaks raided it. I immediately failed the siege quest and was accused of fleeing my post
I knew a good amount of them but there was surprisingly some I didn't know. Well done!
Four actually new things I have learned about my favourite game. Cool video.
2:40 I guess this pretty much puts the nail in the coffin that Sybille Stentor is a vampire.
The smallest details that they put into characters, even if they’re outlaws is always very fascinating
6:20 well that made me cry
"the sky is all wrong" sounds like its from doctor who just kind of has that "are you my mummy" or "who turned off the lights" vibe
I love finding hidden parts of the game. I’ve re-played Skyrim so many times that finding hidden dialogue feels like playing new content.
Criminally underrated video
woah i never knew some of this stuff and ive played this game since forever!! this is why i love skyrim, i learn new things about it everyday :]
Wait, how could you dead thrall Astrid? When i do it it always says "Astrid resists dead thrall" like Ulfric
There's a specific level range when you can do it.
You need to be level 40 or below to dead thrall Astrid, that is if we are talking about destroying the Dark Brotherhood.
BBQ Astrid can be dead thralled at any level.
@@imacobra4862
Fucking "BBQ Astrid". Thanks for the laugh. :D
Jenassa's voice sounds weird - she's supposed to have the deep english-sounding female dark elf voice.....
Marriage changed her. lol
Christ, that blood moon one is new to me. This game still has secrets even I don't know about.
Sorry, meant to say blood "sun." Force of habit.
Turned their mother into a sweet roll, then gave it to the children to eat.
I may need to start a new evil playthrough.
(Tyranny of the sun) the first people seeing dark clouds above them when they wake up in the morning:
If you shout in any of the guild houses the courier will give you a note saying stuff like oh my god your the dragonborn
I made Astrid a thrall, brought her to the Dawnstar sanctuary and killed her in front of the sarcophagus. Pay off your sins in front of the mother
Why did you have to upload this, now i'm gonna try to heal every single ENTITY in skyrim, including the chickens
God damn I love this game...
Youre telling me all I have to do is read alvas diary and instead of trying to kill me she’ll SKIP TOWN?!
Pretty sure serana wouldn't be happy about taking out the Sun LOL
I wonder what sisles reaction with being since she has those dreams about parthanax
may I ask what mods you are using?
bro just go to jail for a day lmao u just sleep and get out instead of having 80,000 bounty across all the holds💀
"Conuration" 😏
What robe is that???
He didnt though. Also that was a metaphor and an analogy and not a literal thing.
You know brynjolf kinda is insulting assuming i stole my way to being rich. I'll have you know i made my coin exploring and smithing
I make my gold as a humble meth dea- potion seller.
I would love to know what mod that dress is from
I found it
It is nocturnal robes
@catsfavor is it a mod or just robes that can be found or bought
@@mirandaguffey2093 you have different kinds like the ones that replace the archmage robes or ones that you can find
At least these are the ones that i found
Not a mod, it's the dress Nocturnal wears and can be acquired via console commands.
In game; open console by pressing (`~) key and type:
player.additem 00088952 1
Hit enter, and it should drop into your inventory. Though this item was not intended for player use, so it's a little glitchy sometimes. (Note the separated number at the end represents how many of them you want. Just figured I'd specify for those who don't typically use console commands.)
@@mirandaguffey2093 it exists in the games code but can not be acquired by the player, but there are mods that let you craft it.
Wait the temple of markarth had a quest 😅
How do you even start the quest with the little girl?
easiest way is to sneak into the inner sanctum of the temple, steal the statue of dibella and then get caught by the priestress.
(temple of dibella, not temple of talos)
@@riseagainstthemachine6079 Oh I've never even snuck back there because my sneak isn't usually high enough and when it is I just tend to forget... and I mostly use Sanguin's quest to make me wake up there as well
Is meridias beacon droppable or did you use console commands?
its droppable once you reach her shrine
@riseagainstthemachine6079 12 years and I just learned that. No wonder ES6 is taking its time
Why does jenassa sound like that?
Who is fjotra???
The Sybil of dibella
@@ezatom7547 is that a mod? Cuz I’ve never heard of this in my life
No, she’s base game. It’s for the quest heart of dibella; you have to sneak into the temple of dibella in markarth and get caught to start it
@@oliearts8074 huh…and here I thought I knew everything there was to know about this game.
You get quest from beggar at Markarth to steal some statue in temple, after you done with quest return there and be catched by womans inside, now you get quest to found fjotra, thats vanila one.
More(thal)
11:53 Reminds me of the saying "cold as a witch's titty."
Nordman, there is a quality of life mod I always use - To Your Face. It makes all NPC who are not within your crosshair SHUT THE HELL UP.
11:45 - Nice try but you can't drop quest items.
its no longer a quest-item once you entered the shrine itself
@@riseagainstthemachine6079Which is impossible unless you deadload in. Completing the quest by deadloading into the temple without returning the beacon, then you can drop it.
11:46 LMFAO I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT OF THAT
Wait... Is it not normal for people to show Enmon that his daughter is okay?!
Lol I was going to and then I forgot
15:30 WHAT IS THAT HOUSE
Tundra homestead. Extra house with anniversary edition
thanks a lot !
Don't make me play skyrim again
i'm just saying, technically, the dragonborn should canonically be a nord
Hmm?
HMMM?
these feel and sound ai generated
100
That isn't Jenassa's voice actor saying those lines. Smells like a mod. Aela's voice actor for sure. Also never heard that line in Riften my primary home on countless plays any of the time I married her or anyone else.
I've seen every other one in the video, they aren't very secret. Just another things you've seen 13 years ago video.
First
Why can’t ppl just say they’re posting modded content so the rest of us aren’t confused as hell?1
Non of that was modded other than him having outfit and graphical mods, all of those responses can be replicated in the vanilla game
ive encountered all of this in vanilla, its just a lot of them are very specific quests with some setup (i.e., you only get the dibella quest about rescuing a child by breaking into the temple of dibella's inner sanctum in markath which you wouldnt really have a reason to, the ratway situation you have to not kill the nord guy while sneaking around the embassy the quest beforehand, etc)
Some of these characters aren’t even recognizable…if you’re going to lie, don’t be lazy about it.
@@Miss_Camel which characters? They're all on the official wiki and can be found in game
@@Miss_Camelhow dumb are you it's an open world game you haven't encountered 3 characters
How did Ulfric go to Soverngard? Wha- What did you do? Kill Ulfric? How? I dont understand. If you side with the Imperials... or something? That's horrible. I HATE the Imperials. I'll NEVER side with them. And how DARE you do that to Mommy Meridia! She's my favorite Skyrim Goddess! :O
Side with the open racists (basically America mixed with Nordic shit) or the closeted, cowardly ones.
I usually pick neither because neither side deserves the effort.
At the end of the Imperial questline, you kill Ulfric. I usually side with the Stormcloaks, but sometimes I do the Imperials if I think my character would.
Skyrim is such a bad game
