stretch daily, every morning. 30 sec per stretch. I personally do side split -> pancake -> pike -> couch stretch (both sides) -> front split (both sides) -> bridge (instead of holding 30 seconds I do 5-10 reps). That's what I do (I incorporate an active part after every stretch for ~10 secs as well), you can do something different, it doesn't matter that much. Just stretch, every day.
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial Yep do them but they’re not really a grip strength thing. I never do curls but I do CoC, in the periods of time that I have done wrist curls they’ve had no affect on my ability to close my grippers.
@@CybertroninfiniteOfficial That makes more sense because you’d require wrist stability as well as grip strength. So yeah definitely do them for deadlifts if wrist stability is a factor 👍👍👍
Dude, you're a genius. The short, super easy to actually do format that you have is so great, because I actually have been DOING a lot of the things that you show me, I usually don't do anything I see in shorts lol, even if it sounds like a good idea, because if I don't do something while I'm thinking about it .. I'll forget. You always give me something I can do RIGHT NOW and I love that
this guy is probably the healthiest and nicest person I've seen so far in this genre of videos. i was obese and was rly scared of exercising in public, started doing it at home, lost a bunch of weigh, almost 60kg, but now I saw myself getting lazy again, even despite being at an average weight, now i feel i need go get a better posture, work on myself and on diet, which is rly hard to do being depressed af but DUDE THIS GUYS MOTIVATES ME SO MUCH! if he's reading this, thank u.
Hey that's great! David's work has also motivated me a lot during the past months. I managed to keep a cool but consistent workout and stretching schedule. The gains are incredible, I used to be super stiff but I feel pretty good right now.
I've noticed since doing this stretch/exercise, my old elbow injury has flared up. I went to a new boxing gym and a guy said he had a similar problem and he snapped a tendon. He said to try to touch my shoulder with my thumb while starting with my arms outstretched to my sides. I couldn't do it and the pain was intense in my elbow. I've booked with a physio but I'm glad this highlighted what movements cause the impingement and pain while in the gym I can also show the physio the test I did to cause extreme pain. I'm 38 retired pro boxer due to this injury and raising a family. Anyway I'm grateful for your content. Hopefully I get my elbow/shoulder/neck/pec sorted 😅
I love your videos man. I hurt my shoulder as a kid and have had limited to no mobility on my left wing and clavicle and slowly over time I've learned to move these area more and more and when I found your videos it has lead me to so much pain relief that it's almost life changing
Oh sweet christ I am so stiff in my upper forearms. I can manage about 45° of rotation with my right hand and about 30° with my left. Time to do those stretches I suppose.
Holy crap! THANK YOU FOR BOTH OF THESE!!! I have a pre/mild arthritic joint in my thumb and wrist and for some weird reason, this made it stop hurting nearly as much as it was before!
I have started doing so many things that this guy recommends and I feel better. I just feel better. That's all that's important. I used to rock climb, and now I feel pathetic and weak, it's great to feel that I'm getting it back.
My job has me gripping onto swords for 10+ hours a day and at the end of my week, my thumbs and fingers are always in stiff, numb, and usually in pain. These stretches help so much to improve my overall mobility
I don't usually comment despite being on CZcams wayyy to much but I would like to let you know that I appreciate what you do. I feel like you do a really great job teaching good knowledge of these things and you've really inspired me to start working out again. Wish you the best of luck😁
I was following the first time and it freaked me out when it happened. Right hand unfortunately needs the second stretch first but I love what you're doing, keep it up 🤙
I've been climbing for a few weeks now and I'll tell you what, doing the strengthening exercise when already being a little sore from a training session is CRAZY.
I discovered the open-grip variation because it directly answers the pain I get when I use a computer keyboard for too long. (I'm a software developer.)
Hey man hope you see this, itll be so nice to have a countdown/timer in the corner so i can time stretches while watching the shorts!!! Sounds like itll be appreciated!!
Same with the first exercise in your hamstring video. First exercise here doesn't generate almost any tension because the muscle is attempting to contract while shortened at both joints, aka active insufficiency.
Wanted to say thanks cause the way you present everything feels very accessible. I know flexibility training is always going to be helpful in the big picture but with tendon inflammation induced carpal tunnel and trigger fingers in both my hands I'm always concerned about causing further damage. This seems like it's hopefully gentle enough without straining anything.
Actually needed this, but I feel like I messed up my joint too. While this will help with one problem that stops me from developing grip (I was doing curls with some small weight in my palm), I feel like painful clicking won't stop lol

Wow, I've had wrist pain for nearly 2 years, seen specialists who did no help, and I felt such a relief in my wrist doing that stretch. No clue if it's a long term solution but that felt amazing
I play guitar my fretting hand could do this easy with little to no cramping or pulling feeling but my picking hand is another story so I’ll work on that lol
