Very cool. No need for a scoop of it’s just for looking at! I always cut out the hood even if not for added power it’s helps cool things off. Nice work buddy.

Thanks bud, much appreciated, yeah I agree, they always look cool but what’s the point if it don’t actually serve a purpose. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

Enjoying your channel , Subscribed. Been thinking of doing this to my 69 formal top Fairlane (Cobra clone). Just ordered a American eagle radiator and spal fan after watching your install. Gave your channel a shout out when asked how I heard of them.

That’s awesome, I really truly appreciate that, and thank you. Yeah I’d say go for it, I’m glad I did mine, just wish the scoop was in the proper placement but that’ll be something for another time, at least now it’s functional. Yeah the American eagle and spal fan setup has been great, I can’t complain. I say it’s definitely a good upgrade, hope you’re happy with the outcome and thanks for the shoutout, and cool car by the way. Good luck on the install, thanks for being a supporter and thanks for watching.

Turned out great! Will do also but have the original pie shape template.
Do you already thought about hood looks?
Will do it with the cutout together so I have prepare only once all the tools 😂

Nice job. I am such a coward on permanent mods like that on perfectly good factory parts. I would rather get a repo hood to cut up. Now get you a KnN type air filter top. The windlace made for a nice trim.

Thanks, much appreciated, lol yeah I can understand where you’re coming from, but in my case that hood is no good anyway, it’s dented and been bent so I’m gonna order a new one eventually when I get ready to do more body work. I thought about getting a different style air cleaner to run but haven’t decided for sure yet which one. Glad you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.
