Excellent work as always, I hope you show in the next video how you correct the height you are looking for again and that you provide us with what degrees you used for alignment, camber, caster, etc., and of course your final assessment of the behavior and handling.

Thank you, much appreciated, yeah I got something coming in that I ordered for another mod I been wanting to do for a while anyway and it’ll raise the car some but not sure if quite enough but if not then I got other plans as well to raise it back up. Yeah I plan on doing a follow up video after I get everything in tune and how well it actually responds and handles after some driving. Glad you you enjoyed the video, thanks for watching.

Been thinking about doing this, may have to wait until I get some new springs. I cut a coil out of the big block springs and its already low. I love those wheels! Do you recall the dimensions?

Yeah it’s definitely a great mod to do, I’d highly recommend it but yeah it dies drop the car quite low, more so than I would have thought so, at least it did in my case. My springs are new and I had cut them a couple times t get my ride height but now it’s too low so I’ll probably be buying new ones again. Yes I love those wheels, I can’t remember exactly but I know they’re 17x7’s with I believe a 4.5 backspace and a stock offset. Although I’d probably do a 5 or 5-1/2 backspace if I had to do it again to give it a more even look to the side of the car which is why I installed wheel spacers. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.

Thank you for another great video. What and when will you address height?
How is the cowl area on your car?
Mine is bad, I also suspect windshield area is leak culprit when it rains. Have you had to remove aluminum trim for windshield?

You’re welcome, I’m glad you enjoyed the video snd thank you, thanks for continuing to be a supporter. I have another mod I’ll be doing in a future video that will help with the height but unsure of how much it’ll help till it’s done but I’ll be doing that once I get my part in I ordered so stay tuned for that.
The cowl had some rust on mine but I believe mine leaks mainly from the windshield, but it’s common for these old unibody cars to have cowl rust problems so it’s not surprising.
I haven’t personally had to remove my trim yet but I will one I get ready to dive into body work and repairing things and replacing the windshield. Hope this answered all your questions.
      Thanks for watching.

@@FastFords289 Thanks, yes it does. It confirms we have the same problem 🤣😭
I will definitely keep an eye out for that.

@@MircoAlexander365 you’re welcome, yeah which is one reason I don’t drive mine in the rain. I remember when I first bought the car and I got stuck in a thunder storm and I had a lake in my floorboards lol. It sucked so I knew then not to drive it unless I know the weather will be nice or I stay close to home. I appreciate it, thanks again.

    Maybe I should drop my 69 mach1.

Absolutely, I’d recommend it, it’s a cheap easy mod that improves the drivability and handling of these old unibody cars. Good luck on your install, and thanks for watching.
