Columbia Gorge XC Flying - 131km - Hyperlapse

May 10th 2023...We saw a great day of flying forecasted with a classic east/west wind switch in the afternoon. We knew wanted to fly a big triangle and could tell the day was going to hold together and work until the evening. Joined by my fellow sky-beaters Isaac Levinson and Mike Whelan we rallied this awesome blip in weather and time...As always could have gone further, flown faster, and made better decisions. But we had a safe and super fun flight! This happened to become the site record at the time, but it only lasted for a few weeks! Spring 2023 was a wild year for flying in the gorge. This flight was one of the only times I busted out the insta360 this Spring, so enjoy a little hyperlaspe of the day. I was just lucky to have been there to tap in.
