Another watch 4 years later, and I have to say, that upstream ferry by Levinson was hairy. It capitulates the essence of extreme kayaking and quick thinking. No doubt he knew exactly where that log was from warm up runs, but quickly id'd that far left was his only safe option. Power ferry move like no other.

Just a quick correction from a Bozeman native this was actually shot in California. Bozeman is an ugly heap that no one should move to :)

He lived his life as 100% people want to live there life. Everyone has to respect and appreciate that. The ones closest to him I hope know that he would want them to pursue that with all of their heart. I am not in a position to speak for him of course but I have lost a friend to the sport and the soul that Bren put on display for all of us to watching to benefit is inspirational. He would want to encourage people to pursue their dreams and celebrate the good things. I don't pretend to be in a position to speak on this but he inspired me with his awesome energy that dozed from his passion.

These last few vids are such next level! You've definitely figured out how to capture both the views and your movements in the best way man! Excellent!!

Not sure how I ended up on your video but when I read that "Bren passed away", I couldn't believe it. He was such an incredible human with a lot of insight for a young man. Loved his videos where he got really deep in thoughts. RIP, Bren. You will be missed.

Still having a hard time accepting that he's gone. He was such a good person, full of life and fun. He was also a very gifted teacher who touched the lives of countless new and young kayakers, as well as old goats like me. In a way, he's going to live on, as the things he taught and the ethics he brought to the sport will be be passed on to kayakers well into the future. Still I'll miss that ginger boy, his smile, and his oneness with the water. In a very real way, he is now truly one with the water. We know he left doing the thing he loved, and perhaps we can take some comfort from that. I miss you Bren. We all miss you. To the guys who participated in this video and in the memory of Bren, Thank you.
