Instead of me watching to learn and kind of pick up some ideas, I sat back and closed my eyes while listening to this arrangement. Just absolutely stunning.

I have my MM, and arrange a LOT, but I've got to tell you I'm humbled by the wonderful way your musical mind works, and I'm afraid 10 more years of school won't give me that. fantastic in every way. How do you get the notation so accurately? Don't you have to slave over it manually? When I've tried to get midi transciption notations with software there are always glitches---thanks.

It's so delicious to listen to Doug! How can I get the music? It feels like a long road.. .The tips in yellow whizz past. Do you start by doing lots of scales before you launch into playing, How many hours? I'm so nosey, but I have still desperate urge to learn, even at my age. I've got small hands so it seems to turning everything into a nightmare. Who, or what, helped you most in the learning process. To be honest i'm learning on you tube. I really think you probably work incredibly hard to get this good, I'm forcing myself to learn, it a struggle as adult!

Just got this music through a PDF on Doug's website. It failed to come through on two tries because my (old) email server cuts off attachments at 5MB. Although the order was only a pathetic $3.60 Doug persisted, on the other side of the earth, until I got my PDF in Canada. Professional teachers like DMcK are the reason why students are able to strive for their full potential today.

Damn, as a beginner in Jazz I was looking for something nice and easy to play. OK that's NOT it! You lost me completely. Barely recognized a 2-5-1 progression.. That was really great though. I guess that would be my ultimate goal to play like this before I die, given I leave my day job and practice for the rest of my life, and still ... :)
