Great experience and top VT. Adrenaline fuelled laughter; nothing like it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣 the adrenaline crash after was equally mad
That was fantastic! I'd already worked out you are a giggler when you are nervous but at the end it was like you'd had an out of body experience 😁 Great to see 🤘
Great video Saffy, looks like an amazing experience. :)
Thank you so much 💓
wow! Awesome film! Fantastic just to watch!

Infectiously enjoyable video, now I can see why you are an " inspiring utuber". I'll never be able to watch racing again without that joyous giggle popping into my mind.

I actually couldn't believe my luck 🤣🤣🤣
I can see you becoming the new Suzi Perry with your enthusiasm and passion for motorcycles
I don't think anyone could beat her! She's amazing!
@@SaffySprocket Don't put yourself down, not people impress me enough to follow their channel but your attitude and excitement for travel with Rocket is so refreshing.
Hey Saffy, you were buzzing so much after that you made me cry with laughter and happiness for you. You should get yourself a pillion with Randy Mamola on a duel seat Ducati race bike, that'll make you buzz so much you won't stop laughing for 24 hours. Love the professional look on the video. Keep up the great content👍🏻😉
Well that made my Sunday night! Keep doing what you love Saffy. Glad you did that so I don't have to! Would have been frit to death! 🤣Love your vids . Ride Safe.
🤣🤣🤣 thank you so much ❤️
There's been a lot of research done in nervous laughing, this was awesome to watch from that perspective and just it was AWESOME!
Been riding 17 years (exactly half my life!) And never been pillion, all credit to you!
What does the research say 🤣🤣🤣
@@SaffySprocket From what I remember there are two trains of thought... it can be a subconscious defense mechanism to minimise visible weakness or vulnerability. Or it can assist in regulating emotions. I think most of the time it's probably the first haha
@@fatherandspud8921 I think it was the second here - Saffy's joy overflowed into laughter!
Very emotional Saffy, well done 🤘
🥰🥰🥰 thank you so much ❤️

So glad you enjoyed the video and thank you so much ❤️
WOW what a amazing experiance good to see you loved it could here you laughing over the bike!
Hope Mr Laverty looked after you well
He was wonderful:D
That was a very gentle, slow ride, no chances taken there.
I mean, it makes sense, imagine the PR if something went wrong ☠️
@@SaffySprocket Of course I don't want anyone to get hurt or damage the bike, Ijust feel you missed out on what a fast ride at Silverstone would have been like and still not be in any real danger. There's nothing like it !! Anyhow a good introduction, hope you get to go out on your own and see what you can truly do one day.
It was fairly gentle but then Saffy had never been pillion before. Going from that to fast laps on a track would have properly scary and dangerous.
@@tonysansom properly scary and dangerous sounds good to me ha ha. You did the right thing if Saffy had never ridden pillion. I loved riding Silverstone when I was racing, miss it so much.
@@Digitalmixes Lol look at the reaction Saffy had after that easy ride. If ML had been pushing limits, I think she'd have imploded 😂
Sooo jealous! Glad you had the best pillion setting ever :D
😅 wish I could do it again
@@SaffySprocket Many, many years ago I did a sidecar ride day. It was exhausting (I was in my 40s) but I always wanted to do it again, but never did. Same with track days. When speed is involved it's a whole new level of wanting to do it again, and fantastic for skills and awareness. The fast stuff is a great foil for the more serene touring habits 😃 It's early days for you, so you never know where your bike mojo will end up. In my old age, a scratch in the hills with my man is as much fun as a weeks-long solo touring trip. Never be afraid to broaden your riding experiences, even if it takes decades for it to happen. I'm over 60 but still get excited at the thought of the next long solo trip to see the grandkids. It helps that my bike likes to do the fun things whether she's fully loaded or not 😉 What I'm trying to say is that throughout your life opportunities will arise to try out different things, at any age or stage. If you can, grab them with both gloves 😁
I'm impressed with your enthusiasm and bravery to tackle the worst roads and win. May the keenness last til old age.
Best thing I did for my riding was to for a ride with a pro!
Him dragging knees with me in the back BLEW my mind... Totally changed my understanding of riding!
He went gently on you there, I remember being at Donington watching a pro rider take people out, he was knee down in every corner and skidding the bike into turns!
I was gonna say, slowest MotoGP lap in history. LOL
Probably Randy Mamola... but those bikes had special handles on the tank to hold on to. I can't imagine doing this without the handles like they did here and having the pillion nearly pulling you off the back end under acceleration. lol
That must have been amazing, a real once in a lifetime experience.
Honestly! It was so amazing!
@@SaffySprocket has it inspired you to get a sports bike?
Wow so so brave, I would of been terrified lol , you amaze me with your videos but this one my heart was in my mouth lol x
I think I don't have a sense of danger 🤣🤣🤣🤣
Just about had me crying with laughter at your laughing 😂 😂 😂 😂. Absolutely brilliant ❤️👍😂
😂😂😂
All I could hear was maniacal laughing 😂 😂😂.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Juhuuu. Its soo cool Saffy. I will watch this episode when I've got 10 minutes. 😅
aha it's not going anywhere ! In your own time
Well you are a lucky soul Saffy. What a treat. And you were actually comfortable on that pillion?! Or did you have kind of a laughing cry in pain. 😅
Oh my God Safron, your a lot braver than me, I’ve been to race school a couple of times but nothing like that, them boys are really at the top of their game and wouldn’t put you in any danger but still scary, well done you.
The strangest thing, was seeing how calm they were after speeding around. It reminds me of doing firedrills at school, where you just go through the motions
@@SaffySprocket thank you si much for the reply stay safe can't wait for your next video
You can give the Moto GP guys a run
That was so enjoyable to watch.
You looked like you had an ossum time!
Maybe one day we'll see you solo on the track?
Really enjoying your chanel, got my cbt booked for early March, so it's really nice to watch your journey.
Keep up the content! 🤜
Well done Saffy very brave for doing this you are fearless 👏👏😁
🤣🤣🤣 fearless or naive, who's to say ahahaha
That was as much fun to watch Saffy as it was for you being there. I can see a vlog coming soon when you get the bug to do a track day 😅. Thank you for all the joy & giggles.
On another note I also confess that sometime ago I watched a video of yours out of curiosity & my first take was of a young silly ditzy blond girl. Because I watched that video your next one's kept coming up in my CZcams feed. I don't know what headline you put on another but it made me curious so I watched a second one & then another. Little by little I disco
vered that your not the negative picture I painted you as. I profoundly apologize for my first reaction Saffy. I've come to realize that your an incredible, brave & intelligent young woman & the giggles are just about how positive you are about life. Thank you Saffy, we need allot more people like you you in the world and far less grumpy old gits like me lol. Keep going going because you're amazing.
I'm glad you enjoy my videos ☺️
Can’t believe how stable Michael’s helmet was, even when you butted him 😂
I must say that was the most bizzare thing I have ever seen on a motorcycle, it appeared that Michael Laverty's helmet was bolted to the screen, his head never once appeared to move at all, very strange. By the way, that was not a motogp bike, it was a Panigale.
Don’t think she said anywhere it was a MotoGP bike…more that he was a MotoGP rider and she was riding pillion on his bike (I.e back of a MotoGP rider, not just any rider)….either way, fkn awesome vid/experience
Well done brilliant from CZcams vids to bt sports on the back of a superbike congratulations 🎊
It was so exciting 😅😅😅
I was sat grinning like mad listening to you giggle all the way round - such a monumental event. So when are you getting a sports bike to do your own track days? 🤣😁🏍
Yes but it will be after I move house next year! I don't really have the room at the moment!
Saffy. You really are nuts 🤣🤣🤣
🤣🤣🤣🤣 some bolts too
Wow you are one brave lady no way would I, still loved it saffy and we got loads of your signature giggles brilliant love it ❤❤❤
I'm so glad you enjoyed the video🥰🥰🥰
What a great experience for you Saffy, but seriously, he could have opened it up a bit more tbh, a nice very safe leisurely ride. I've riden the short circuit at Silverstone on my old ZX12R and loved it. The Buzz you got from that was epic, could you imagine how you'd have felt if he opened it up. Awesome content
Fantastic 👍👍 if that doesn’t make you smile there’s something wrong !!!
🥰🥰🥰 glad you enjoyed the video 📹
@@SaffySprocket that really put a smile on my face watching you enjoy that
MR Lavertey was a gentleman, he took the ride to the sweet spot, not to fast but not to slow. He was not sure once you started to laugh in the pits after the ride, but he started to laugh and went with it. Glad you had fun, maybe the next ride will be in a track day, maybe with username Kate and the girl on a bike. That would be a good video.
He's such a talented rider
Absolutely brilliant well done 😂 Not sure I'd try it myself though I much prefer to be in control.
🤣😅 think I prefer go be in control too but I also think I'll never be able to do what micheal does, he's so skilled
That looked scary and absolute fun at the same time, I bet you didn't need any coffee for about a week after that adrenaline rush. What a great experience for you.

So jealous but I bet it was surreal. Your channel is amazing Safron keep up the incredible work. Will you be heading to the British Grand Prix ??
Not sure yet! Depends how tired I am from work 😅
Next step, get yourself booked on a Track Day. Warning, they are addictive!
I really need to! But it will be a next year job after I move somewhere with a bigger garage
Another great video you are a star
Thanks 🤣 😊
Ha ha Saffy, you are a nut job, hearing you laugh was so funny, what an amazing experience, can you imaging what that must be like balls out on a WSBK factory machine or MotoGP bike ........ it must be incredible, well doe for being so brave, I am not sure i would have the bottle to be perched up that high on the duke
Well done, Saff!
Just like nipping down the shop for the Sunday papers, eh 😉

Awesome Saffy! I bet you chipped all the paint off the back of his helmet…but he was laughing as much as you👊
Ahahhah I think so too, I couldn't help it, when he slowed down, bang ahahha
oh wow Im so happy for you. you made me laugh. jajajajaja
Pure joy! I’m curious about the speed of the ride, any heavy lean angle and how the acceleration felt. Adrenaline at the end showed how much fun it has to be - awesome experience!
Looked awesome
It really was 😅
I don't recall my Mr's laughter the first time she rode pillion with me 🤔🤣
Looked amazing. His helmet didn't budge once.
It's Saffy time for sure. Did you end up laughing the rest of the day?
Glad you had fun and didn't forget to hang on ....
I had a nap shortly after 🤣🤣🤣🤣 post adrenaline come down

I started biking as a pillion passenger and that was wild!
Oh he was taking it really easy around that track with her on the back
Such a gentleman
I done it once on the back of my mates fireblade, was the most frightening experience of my life. Never again.

Well done, I can only guess what that was like. Never been a pillion after a long time on two wheels. Would love to do a circuit like that
It was amazing, I can't lie ahaha
What a shame there were no grab handles on the tank for the pillion, so a more aggressive ride would be safely possible !
Oh you are a TV presenter nowadays?
Hehe great work Ms Sprocket.
Hope it works out 👍
Aha noooo, just for a fun day 🥰 it was very kind of them to invite me down
MotoGP bike? I saw a road going Ducati. Looked and sounded good fun though. And I'm still waiting for what happens at the top of the Irish hill!
It's coming I swear! I've just been busy at work these last few weeks!
Giggling all the way :)
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Excellent, that looked like fun. A mate won a prize to get doubled by Troy Bayliss (among many other people) at a round of the ASBK on an 1198 - he went that hard one of the passengers ripped off the handles attached to the tank filler used by the passengers. He didn't hold back, LOL. Be good to get on the back with Randy Mamola - he has a certain amount of crazy..
at 57 and riding since 73 i still feel like that.
I hope this feeling never goes away!
@@SaffySprocket it doesn't. with a twist of your wrist all the days problems go away.
