Nice cruising compilation of a tiny but practical lake and river cruising sailboat. Perttu has plans for this boat available now. Search google for ocean explorer perttu duckworks
Hello, I have been looking for a small camper boat for exploring and fishing all the many small lakes and rivers around Northwest Ontario, Canada. This looks like the perfect boat for my solo needs. However I'm not a sailer so would want to have it sail, oar and paddle, as well as have my 2.5hp Suzuki 4stroke outboard mounted so when I get tired or in bad weather I can get safely back to my vehicle. How would I modify the plans on Duckworks to add the outboard? Kind regards, Steve (67yrs) Eastern Manitoba Canada.
I have the plans for the Ocean Explorer and the Ooze Goose. I want to build the Ocean Explorer to test skills as proof of concept before trying anything larger. Do you think two adults can fit in the cockpit of the Ocean Explorer, or will it be far too cozy?
Me again, I have read through the notes on Duckworks for this Ocean Explorer. It mentions the 12 foot goose. How can I make this Explorer into a 12 foot versions adding more to the cockpit area? Which plans should I use to achieve this. I'd buy the printed plans for such a boat if available. Steve, Canada

That's a lot of boat for such a small hull size.
