I really enjoyed this video. I am planning to build my own designed OZ/PD racer. And good to see there are stuff like this in Hungary. Üdv Spanyolországból! 😉

Great boat and big fun. Are your geeses also avaliable to rent? What about a weekend in your place? I am from Prague.

    Hi Csaba,
In the video above you mentioned that you did some development to the rigging to get more performance out of the Oz Goose. Could you elaborate what those were? I'm just beginning to plan my build.
    Cheers, Laurent.

Hello Laurent, well, I elaborated the sail settings mainly. I can adjust the bottom side of the sail (for stronger or lighter winds). I added a single and a double block pulley system to make it easier to tighten the downhaul while sailing. I also added clams on the deck to be able to do it while sitting in the cockpit. I added a second mast with mizzen on the stern transom - mainly for fun - no real change in performance. I changed the tiller, so I can raise it when tacking - for comfort. I also made a simple auto-pilot to keep the rudder in position. I glued two longitudinal rounded sticks on the bottom for keeping the boat straight when moving in light winds.
